Just give the ball away with lazy passes

Leicester 1/2 to score the first goal. I think they are very decent odds, so just put a bet on. Hope I lose.

The minimum requirement mantra seems light years away.

I keep hearing about getting back to basics. I look forward to seeing it!

Just keep them out and get Brady and Barnes on last 20 mins to try and nick a win like we used to

Lee Dixon sums it up perfectly for me
A laboured front two with a midfield incapable of linking up with them

I got pelters at the back end of last season for suggesting that we need to address the poor form before the end of the season because it can affect the next.

We didn’t, we did nothing to freshen up a successful squad (which needed doing) and we’ve continued to be very, very poor.

I’m afraid we are reaping what we sowed. I just hope that we can address things on the pitch in the short term and have a successful January. If we don’t, we are down!

I was previously convinced that we would stay up by virtue of there being three shitter teams than us. I’m far from sure that there are three worse now :(

Well the one game in which he started - the Bournemouth game, he did exactly that and we also won 4-0 .... so who knows :?

The problem with that argument is that we were poor at the end of the previous season and we didn't address the situation.

However, we started like a house on fire next season, beating Chelsea etc.

Well that was terrible. Midfield is struggling. If the tactics are ti go direct and pick up second balls thrn thats not working either. Hendrick for Cork for me.

Too many of our players cant seem to find a white shirt- we look like Championship fodder at the moment.

DC Wat is spot on about the failure to freshen the squad. Dreadful summer window (as a number of folks said at thr tine and git pelters)

True - it’s not a guarantee of poor form the following season but I’d argue that the problems that we are seeing this season are a continuation from the end of last.

The problem is, after another terrible display so far, half of the people will still be happy and quote the orient game and a 7th placed finish last year.

We need a change.

Come on Burnley! It`s 1am here and I`m fighting the urge to go to bed. SHow me something in the first 10 minutes to get me to the fridge for another beer. We have got to shore up that midfield though as it`s like a hot knife through butter.

People diving is the least of our worries. The insipid and wholly predictable nature of our play is the problem.
