Hart 6. Actually not at his best today ironically getting a clean sheet in the process. But the banks of 4 in front of him were exactly what Pope and Heaton always got. Made one top save.
Lowton 6. Steady away but distribution let him down a few times. Bought some clever free kicks and time wasted very well. I feel sick saying that bit about time we did both.
Taylor 8. Thought he was very good up and down again today. Improving.
Long 8. Excellent. Didnt put a foot wrong.
Mee 8. See Long.
Lennon 8. Fantastic tracking back, getting his foot in where necessary and played a part in any attacks we did have. Rightly stayed on ahead of JBG.
JBG. 7. Worked hard but didnt have much going forwards today apart from a decent free kick.
Defour. 7. Showed he can play in central 2 in 442. Played well. was disciplined and tidy.
Cork. 6. Steady away but lost it a few times. But improvement on recently.
Vokes. 5. Didnt really offer much going forwards and wasnt strong enough.
Wood. 6. Ran the channels well but often isolated. Will have easier games. Vydra or Barnes may have been better partner today...

Much better ratings this evening, possibly unsurprising but they cheer up us non-attenders. Exception are 3s for Wood and Vokes which could be harsh given the service to them, it is not easy playing up front for Burnley!

Shocking first half. Improved in second against a tiring Leicester

Agree nonayforever. That first half was one of the worst Burnley displays in years and the second half only improved when the subs were made. The starting eleven was totally unbalanced and we were lucky to go in at half time on level terms.

From what I saw, the players are just going through the motions.
No team spirit, no helping each other out, not creating space for each other, not closing down with tenacity.
Just doing enough to earn their wage.

Hart 6 - nearly cost us a goal (and probably the game) with a weak punch

Cork 6 - not at his best by a long way at the moment
Defour 6 - think the game largely bypassed him in the first half
JBG 6 - ok but he can play a lot better
Wood 5 - bit better than of late but still too slow and ponderous
Vokes 5 - see Wood....we cannot have 2 up top with so little movement.

Hendrick 7 - think he played well when he came on. Been very unlucky to have been the one missing out in the last few weeks
Brady 7 - played well and combined well with other players. Few moments of magic combined with a few moments of losing the ball....but that's Robbie and we are crying out for his inventiveness (let the rest of the team cover his defending !)
Barnes 5 - not on for long and did little but get us a couple of free kicks.

All this about getting demolished in the first off is way over the top....they had 2 or 3 decent chances and one of them was from Hart`s terrible mistake. In the first half we did not play well but Wood missed a great chance from 8 yards and JBG had a decent free kick. Second half I thought we shaded it. Overall if they would have won 1-0 I don't think we could have had many complaints....but they didn't and the players deserve some credit (but clearly some of our fans have already decided we are the worst team in the history of football ever ever ever...)

Much more Burnley like performance from 30 minutes or so. However why oh why can’t Dyche get his striker pairings right. There was so little movement yet again. Starting two big men upfront does NOT work.

And Brady needs to start, showed more in 30 minutes than Lennon has for most of the season. Overall a good point and hopefully gives the team confidence heading into a must win game against Newcastle next week.

Saying its your "opinion" does not justify extreme comments like the players are not trying and just turning up to pick up their wages.

If I expressed an opinion and said I thought we were playing football good enough to earn a Champions League spot and then tried to defend myself by saying its my opinion and I stand by it....i`d still deserve to be ripped to shreds.

I have watched 3 games before today at the KP Stadium this season. After our poor recent form and the emotions running through Leicester I was not hopeful today. For me 0-0 was as good a result as we could expect. Stop the goals coming in and prove a match for them .

Thought the entire back 5 including Hart were superb-flashes of last year and something to hopefully build on. Thought Lowton and Taylor had really good games-the fact Allbright & Gray were subbed spoke volumes of our full backs. Mee and Long looked sound too and dealt with most things. They also kept Vardy quiet. When De Four came off thought we would lose some composure but in the time Hendrick came on he looked our most composed player. Good to have Wood back-he did stretch them down the channels

Hart 6 - shakey at times
Lowton 8 - whole back four restricted City to very few clear cut chances
Long 8 - keeps the shirt for me even if Tarky is fit
Mee 8 - one bad ball apart great game and headed our only corner just over.
Taylor 8 - much improved
Lennon 6 - defended well but going forward offers little. Did win some useful free kicks.
Cork 6 - ropey early on and did not get to grips with the opposition midfield until second half
Defour 6 - steadfast and occasionally effective going forward but still looks a way off it
JBG 6 - caught in possession too often. However plays better on the right
Wood 5 - don't think that this combo works and the ball did not stick much up top.
Vokes 5 - too slow to chase any flick ons and never available for knock downs same as Wood.

Hendrick 6 - did Ok when he came on.
Brady 7 - nippy and tricky
Barnes 5 - not much difference up top when he came on apart from one or two threatening runs which gained fouls or petered out.

Under pressure from the start as expected but from about 10 mins left of the 1st half and for most of the 2nd we were much like our old selves. We looked more solid and composed defensively, the full back in particular were very good.

Very much a fair result on a difficult day.

Can't really fault any in defence (although, if I'm being picky, didn't offer anything in terms of getting us moving forward....but, then, arguably, that's not really their job). Can't believe that so many are marking Defour down. He was the only player able to keep the ball (certainly in the first half) and was a class above....but, hey, it's about opinions, I guess......
