Been following Lenny since he announced he was diagnosed with MND. Never been a fan of his since he left us as I always felt when he covered us on Radio Lancs he was always very dismissive of us and felt he had a bit of a grudge against us. But out of all the clubs he has played for it seems that the Burnley community (club, fans and ex players) above all have shown the most support to him in his time of need. It has shown for me what a great club Burnley is and the one town one club mentality suits no other club better than oir own. Coupled with how well we respected the Leicester game, regardless of what division we are in we have a great club with great fans and a club I am proud to say I am a supporter of

He played more games for us than he did for any other club and he’s still good mates with some of his old team mates. Loved at Swansea for scoring their third goal as they fought against relegation out of the league, their Ian Britton almost.

The players who gave up their time yesterday are the ones to thank. Without them it wouldn’t have happened.

He played 188 games for Bury and only 77 for us

I am sure he was overwhelmed when journalists, ex players, even players like Jay Rod were donating items to auction. My point really was was that he only really played 2 seasons for us but the way community came together for us showed how amazing we as a club are. Once you have been one of us you will always be one of us....bar Judas obviously.

Always feel for Steve Davis a bit as I think he is one that has been sent to Coventry but always talks well of us and seems to regret how things ended up. Yes his own doing but we all mistakes

I was gutted that I couldn't make this. Did Payts play the full game? I'm surprised he wasn't on the score sheet.
