Where do our players live ?

Just out of interest and seeing as now its the international break and we have nothing else to speak about where do the Burnley players actually live ? I cant imagine many if any living in Burnley because to be honest theres not many nice parts. Is Burnley just the place of work for all of the lads or does Chris Wood live in a 3 bed semi up Stoops ?

I remember Lafferty & McCann lived together in a house just off Coal Clough Lane but now obviously our players earn alot more .

Phil Bardsleys fancy house(and mrs) in Cheshire is regularly on TV on The Real Housewives of Cheshire.

Have you ever lived near a Burnley player ?

My uncle lived next door to Steve Davis on Grassington Drive. Adrian Randall lived on Lyndhurst Rd. Can't think of any others. There are nice parts of Burnley - at least the outskirts and nearby towns, but I doubt you'd see many of our players going for them

I was under the impression Heaton lives in Cliviger. I'm guessing most of them will live over Manchester way.

Kurt Nogan lived in Barnoldswick for a spell. Was regularly spotted leaving the offie with bags full of booze.

I lived next door but one to Paul Fletcher when he lived up Newchurch in Rossendale...one day he sent my six year old son home dressed up like Adolf Hitler along with drawn on Tash,a very nice neighbour

Robbie Blake, used to live a quarter of a mile from me, when I lived in Harrogate. He was the star of our local WMC snooker side and I once nearly took his back car door off, when his wife was getting ready for the school run

Used to regularly bump into players in Rawtenstall Asda including Chris McCann, Alex Mcdonald, Danny Ings and Kevin McDonald. A lot used to live in Ilex Mill but I don't know if any still do.

Dave Wilson lived on Parklands around 1970. I used to go past his house kicking a ball, doing keepy uppy and flicks thinking he would have a word with Jimmy Adamson. I'm still waiting for the knock on the door.

We lived on Grassington Drive in the early 90's and Steve would often join me and a mate for a few rounds of Sega mega-drive Golf ! Mark Yates also lived on Grassington ...
Ian Measham lived on Wellfield Drive, off Pendle Way, his wife Jo worked with Mrs Clarets4me at the old Lloyds Bank on Hargreaves Street , as did Pam O'Keefe, mum of Josh O'Keefe who scored for Chorley in their FA Cup draw yesterday. His Dad, Vince O'Keefe ( Cracking bloke ! ) played for our friends down the Road as well as Wrexham, and was the unfortunate keeper when we won 6-2 at the Racecourse in the 4th Division Title season ...

Jim Thomson also lived on Parklands, bottom of Marton Drive. Also big Ray Hankin lodged up Westbourne Avenue South.

Mitchell Thomas used to live up Harle Syke, think it was somewhere near Shore Ave.
Luke O'Neil lived very close, possibly Higham/Read/Whalley area, saw him almost daily, and I think Rouwen Hennings was similar, didn't his child go Read primary school.

Used to see a lot of the players in Tesco Padiham, especially Friday stocking up before the drive to an away game.

Believe a few live down Wycoller. Tripps used to have a house up top of Brunshaw rd. Not sure if thats been passed along now.

On a less glamorous note, i used to wait at the bus stop near the Ighten Leigh with Kyle Lafferty back in 2005ish

I think Kieran Trippier lived in Ilex Mill too. Him and Danny Ings were often seen in Nino's restaurant eating Fillet steaks.... I once spoke to Kieran at the bar in Ninos the day they beat Reading at home a few years back.

David Edgar and Kevin MacDonald used to live in the Spinnings in Summerseat (Ramsbottom/Bury).

Colin McDonald still lives in Summerseat and Kieran Trippier used to live on the estate in Summerseat (his mum and dad still do). His mum works at the shop nearby. Kieran bought a house in Greenmount, Bury during his spell at Burnley.

Matt Lowton did live overlooking Bradshaw cricket club, Bolton however has moved to Lostock, not far from the University of Bolton Stadium (Macron / Reebok).

John Pender lived just off Lakeland Way too. I grew up on Castlerigg Drive so used to see him knocking about.

Danny Ings lived at Ilex mill. Don't know any others now. Stan. Cliviger.

OK, if we are doing former players, Joey Barton had a house in Kew, South West London. A friend is an estate agent and was selling it around the time we were Champions of the Championship. I don't know if he lived there while he was playing for us or just kept it as his "London pad" - and when he played for QPR. (I won't say what the asking price was).

In 1978, when I was given the royal treatment by the Burnley Express and Burnley Football Club, back when it was a novelty to have a Canadian supporter, Paul Fletcher and Peter Noble both lived in Burnley. Peter even worked in an appliance store during the off-season. I know because I was taken to their house and place of employment, respectively. After I returned home about a month later I received a nice letter from Harry Potts' sister. I forget the actual address, but it was postmarked "Burnley". And Peter was a regular at the Thornton Arms in the last few years of his life.

Without giving away a specific location to your house, where abouts in Newchurch did he live, I've always wondered.

Chris McCann lived near my one of my friends in Crawshawbooth before he moved abroad. I've spotted Richard Chaplow, Danny Ings and Trippier in and around Ilex Mill.
