Re: Stan Lee
Legend. A shame his last few years were spent fighting having his legacy ripped apart by people wanting to make a quick buck out of all he had built up

Re: Stan Lee
Heard of Marvel but not of Stan Lee, oh well live and learn as they say.
Re: Stan Lee
Loved the cameo's in the Films ... bit like Clive Cussler in all his books about Dirk Pitt ... and Alfred Hitchcock.
Has given 3 generations of people a lot of enjoyment in the comic book world and lately Movies...

I've read one Clive Cussler book. It was wacky. Good fun though. I forget it's name but it had Nazis building arks.

Millions of bedroom based virgins will be in mourning . Though shocking how he was financially “ raped” in his later years quite appalling .
Re: Stan Lee

Re: Stan Lee
A colleague at work is a Marvel comic fan and has some collectable comics, one of which is a 1st edition Spiderman comic, which me managed to get Stan to sign a few years back. He’s spent the day getting advice on whether to get it insured and to what value... the last place he called suggested £50,000...! He’s now thinking about a new car...
Re: Stan Lee
As a kid in the mid 60s I had a pile of Marvel and DC comics probably with some early editions. If only.
In a day before colourTv, the internet and Marvel Studios and big budget CGI movies, Stan Lee and the Marvel characters he invented formed a big part in my growing up. RIP STAN.
