CHANT FOR NEWCASTLE ...
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=C6H4AmGZK-Y
We don’t care about Scudamore
He don’t care about me
All i care about
Is watching Burnley!
Live on the box would definitely get a message across.

They would be shaking in their boots.
Re: CHANT FOR NEWCASTLE ...
It’d be hilarious if the PL turned round and said “ok chaps, you win. Top 6 get the vast majority of the revenue, here’s a tenner”

You're watching Burnley in the PL partly because of him

Downtoon, things will be great when you're downtoon,
And Raffas away coz you're downtoon,
The Mackems are waiting for you.
And Raffas away coz you're downtoon,
The Mackems are waiting for you.

Re: CHANT FOR NEWCASTLE ...
That downtoon chant will never work. It's too clever by half. Stick to "Burnley, Burnley, Burnley, Burnley, etc., etc., etc.", because it's harder to forget the words, but not impossible.

Where's the money gone, where's the money gone,
Where's the money gone, where's the money gone,
Mike Ashley, Mike Ashley,
Last night the Toon army was singing a song,
Ashleys doing it on the cheap cheap,
Woke up this morning and Raffa had gone,
Coz Ashleys doing it on the cheap cheap,
Doing it on the cheap cheap yeh.

Clearly ignored it.
Yes those goals and seasons got us here but without the PL money to invest in to the squad, stadium and training facilities etc where exactly do you think Burnley would be?

Instead we went for the bargain Walters and Wells combo, that's 15m we'll never get back.

Nah, don't think so. Unless of course Mr. Garlick has taken £12m from the kitty to further his own business interests and failed to put money into much needed training facilities refurbishments.MACCA wrote:You spelt Garlick wrong.

Our Mike has done a fantastic job in guiding our club to where it is today on the funds available, he's the best thing that's happened to Burnley Football Club in my generation.

Scudamore has helped the prem become a cash cow. Take that away and everyone loses out so to say he is a part of the reason we are there is a bit tenuous to say the least.GodIsADeeJay81 wrote:Clearly Sean has deep pockets...or is it the board?

Did Burnley help negotiate the TV deals?
Nah, didn't think so.

Plus the main Bellend who stalked me has clearly been banned so I don't get as much pointless aggro anymore.
I didn't flounce either, just dropped off quietly.

I'd love to be chanting we want six near the end of the match.

Born in '69
1st game in the 70's though I can't remember the year, just remember getting beat at home by Luton Town 1-2.
For many years I witnessed nothing other than decline of the club until Barry came along. Actually, now I read my previous post again, it's Barry that I meant to say is the best thing that's happened to Burnley Football Club in my generation.

I can't imagine there'll be a great deal of chanting if recent homes are anything to go by.
Let's stick to our tried and trusted
"Sean Dy clarablu army" at breakneck speed. The Geordie hordes will have no answer.
