I did some work for Reggie Bosenquets aunties they were as eccentric as he was.One was vegan before it was invented and made me sandwiched of various greenery out of her garden.

Proper old school BBC newsreader from when I was a kid - pleased to see honourable mentions for Kenneth Kendal and Robert Dougall - Peter Woods anyone?
Have to admit I didn't realise he was still alive until his passing was announced by the BBC yesterday.
As you get older all the things that were the fabric of your formative years are gradually chipped away - bit sad really.
RIP - fond memories of that era, there was a certainty and reliability about the BBC that hasn't been the case for some time now, aside from a few notable exceptions - Michael Palin, David Attenborough for example.
