Brady not in the game, lack of quality upfront.
Big difference is the easy way we keep conceding this season :(

I'm not that fussed. I've had little interest in football this season. Our performances against Cardiff and Huddersfield were that bad that I just felt kind of apathetic towards it. Championship is pretty fun (season far from over of course).

I’m not typically an optimist, but I think we’ll make a game of this yet. Need a spark, though.

Don't worry everyone, we almost went bust in 1987 so that has a bearing on everything for the rest of human history.

It's all going well. Great transfer window too.

90% Dyches fault really. Can talk about how the board failed to acquire targets in summer but ultimately he took a team with more pulling power than it had ever had and decided Jay Rodriguez was the answer. F*cking nightmare season

Rank bad defending. Lowton and Mee for the last one.

We are talking really, really rank stuff.

They are making it look easy when they go on the attack. What a load of shite defending.

One consolation for me - at least I'm not there freezing my tits off. I was supposed to be on tonight, but I'm working away from home.

As you know, I never said we were **** for a year. But we are **** relative to PL football standards at the moment. The table and our performances don't lie. That doesn't mean things can't be turned round of course but let's not beat around the bush and pretend otherwise. Honesty is the best policy, don't you think?

We are going down.
Sadly we're going down without a fight.
We play with the tactical nous of a bunch of 6 year olds, and we have all season. Why SD can't see the flaws that are screaming out as us week after week I don't know. Championship teams play better football than us, there is even a danger this team could drop straight through to league 1. Seriously we are that bad.

God awful football and no idea how to defend anymore, which was the only thing we used to be good at.

We’re doomed.

I thought this was supposed to be the start of the season? We've been really poor yet again. Out thought tactically so far and although we are pretty tippy tappy at passing what actual problems have we caused their defence?. Another goal conceded where we don't get out and close down quickly enough and a second goal which is the type of goal we conceded 3 or 4 seasons ago by not having anyone on the back post
The game is pretty much over after 25 minutes

We are going backwards at an alarming rate!

Hi Indigo. I've enjoyed the Championship this season. It's so close that 9 or 10 teams could realistically make the playoffs.

Do you think SD will stay if (when) we go down? Will he have another Championship season fight in him?

Aren’t we all ? All you can hear is him bellowing like some sickly cow. It really is time he bored off somewhere else. Nothing lasts forever, isn’t the ROI job up for grabs ? He’s signed enough of their bang average players.

Their manager will have no doubt said if they go 1-0 up, put men behind the ball and we won't score. And they nicked a second. That's all they have to do. Defend and nick goals from set plays.

they just gave him a 5 year deal on a wedge of money so if he goes it'll be of his own accord. He'll not get another PL job that's for sure.

I'd rather us be in the Championship playing decent football than watching much more of this dross, he can go tonight for me

Newcastle’s formula is simple. Solid base, with a few quick players, and a few good passers of the ball.

Agree. Clear there are big problems. One of which is the managers failure to spot obvious flaws with our personel selection and tactics. Nothing in football lasts forever and I am pretty confident we are heading in one direction unless changes are made. Games are coming and going, the challenge facing us is increasing by the game. Eventually we'll be cut adrift.

None of the combos do, that’s the problem when you only trust / sign big lumps for forwards. Really don’t think he gets strikers at all.

We used to have a great defence under SD, why can't we get back to that style of defending?
