Scary how we can't pressurize a feeble team like Newcastle

Re: MIGHTY CLARETS v Newcastle Geordies
Only making two substitutions on the 80 minute mark is unbelievable. Predictable, boring, monotonous and turgid. I'm so disappointed I feel this way because we have had the best years of my lifetime under Dyche, but we are sleepwalking into the championship at a rapid rate of knots. We have become stale and something must change.

Relegation fodder. If we get to 15 points that will be some achievement.

managers become stale, just like in any other employees, in any job you move people around to keep them fresh and when people dont perfom you replace them including managers

Utter shambles. All that was great last season has gone. They are not playing for the manager and Burnley will never lay out the money to change personnel so it might need a new hand on the wheel.

Our resources are a £100m+ squad you daft apeth (#26). Let us stop believing we are little old Burnley (though Dyche never has).
Tonight was the final straw. After Europe I said I'd be happy with him going but wasn't calling for his head. Now, entertainment, bloody mindedness and results all bad - he has to go. Apologies for upsetting the loyalists.

One of our better performances this season and we were still lucky not to lose by more after gifting them a couple of massive chances.

The alarm bells were ringing loud and clear after the Fulham game and bar the freak result against Bournemouth we have continually been dreadful.
Yet again we were a horrific miss and the width of a post off another hammering

Not two faced. I had one and after tonight I have another. I’ve always been supportive but I’ve seen us go down often enough to know the signs and they are written all over that squad.Wile E Coyote wrote:bloody hell talk about two faced !!!!

yes it is two faced, you were one who supported the comments made about anyone slagging off the team at the beginning of the season, and now you post stuff like this tonight.piston broke wrote:Not two faced. Re: MIGHTY CLARETS v Newcastle Geordies
Dyche needs to shake the pack up now.
Too many players are playing below the required standard.
You might as well give the fringe players a long run out to see if they can prove themselves. We have nothing to lose now.
Start with players such as Barnes , McNeil, Vydra and Gibson. See what happens, it can't be worse.

Re: MIGHTY CLARETS v Newcastle Geordies
Sobering thought. We still need 3 points to avoid joining Derby County in the record books.
It will get better, we will win soon, but we are in a fight.
Watching on TV last night as I couldn't make it up on a weekday - from TV it is noticeable that our tempo is all out of alignment. What I mean is, some players were playing at a higher tempo that others, and when in possession the change in tempo between our players is what permitted Newcastle to break down our play. Last season, there was a certain and noticeable harmony between our players that meant the tempo was as consistent as it could be, and when we changed the tempo the team all changed together. Not sure if I am making any sense, or what the solution is - perhaps they need some good old fashioned team building days away, as there's nothing wrong with their desire or fitness, it just doesn't look like they're aligned.
I'll probably get called for this, but I think Defour either isn't fully fit or isn't fully committed. He is an example of the misaligned tempo I mentioned above. Many times last night he either went too quick for his team mates, or he slowed it down too much - it was glaringly obvious to me. I cant accept that its just because he's a "different class"
