Dyche linked

Post by Right_winger » Tue Nov 27, 2018 6:14 pm

It appears Southampton are rumoured to be interested in Sean Dyche as a replacement for Mark Hughes

No chance. They would go for Allardyce before him for many reasons.

Out of contract.
Better record over a longer period with many clubs in a relegation scrap
Bigger name

Losing Dyche would be disastrous.

Getting Hughes would be disastrous.

Helicopters are probably a bit passé in football these days.

It’ll cost us dearly if Dyche is sacked. He’ll stay - can’t see him leaving of his own accord. Good contract. Just needs to change style of play.

Southampton sacked Claude Puel after an 8th place finish and a cup final appearance - hardly think mention of Sean's name is going to get the pulses racing.

I'd imagine they'd either ask Eddie Howe to name his price or might think Jokanovic is best suited to the way they want to go.

Doubt Eddie Howe would go there.
