incisive through balls

Post by claretnproud » Tue Nov 27, 2018 9:30 pm

They are just not happening this season. last night we were allowed possession in none threatening areas but we simply have no clue how to break down a packed defence. I am a big fan of Dyche but feel now he is just admitting that we are not good enough with the way he sets the team up. As stated on another thread, Lowton has been rubbish this season and Jack Cork simply has to sort out his final ball.
Vokes did ok but for me Long was the m.o.m last night. Looked solid.

My ex had a right go at me about this when she got pregnant, told her I was safe, turned out I was incisive through my balls.

Vokes was excellant. The only burnley player who took a man on and showed a turn of pace. The ball was twated at him and he controlled it time and time again and found a teammate.

Cork dilly dallys about pretending to be a ballerina for too much to even contemplate a through ball. But he’s been here abit now. His performances always fall off a cliff at this stage. Same at Southampton and Swansea.

To be fair to the midfielders, the forwards have too make runs, this is where Vydra could make an impact his movement would create options other than hoofball.
