It was with you in mind I bought it ..... however, I felt so guilty about " Pimlico Claret " and his wasted trip, I'm dropping it in at my sisters for him, as he lives just up the road !! I'm sure you won't mind, now that you're well stocked !! ;) ;)

Although initially gutted at the empty shelves, I pacified myself with the exceptionally cheap Baileys at £12,and a Tia Maria mixer to go with it. Bene is so passe in Clitheroe after all.

When touring Northern France a few years back we came across the Benedictine Abbey by chance.
In the Abbey shop I bought a mixed bottle of Bene and Brandy, it was fantastic. Do they sell this in our shops ?

Bowland brewery are releasing a seasonal Amber ale, Mullered Monk, infused with Benedictine, 4.7 %. Expect it on sale in Holmes Mill, Clitheroe, then other places who sell their beers very soon.

Absolutely, heard about it planned a while ago, it's on their website now, be great if the club could arrange to sell it, numb the pain.

It's at least 10 years since we were there but I remember something along the lines of it saying " Outside of France the most Benedictine drunk is in Burnley England "

If a fish has 10 fingers it's not too bad at 75p per finger including your buttie.
Even better washed down with a large Bene.

Beni is bloody awful a proper ladies drink to sweet by half.
I used to sup Beni as a bitter chaser when I was 18, when I really didn't appreciate alcohol
