Crystal Palarse versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Crystal Palarse versus MIGHTY CLARETS
I am on the train to Clapham Junction and then on to Selhurst, for a 2.29 arrival. Just right If all goes well!
Here is Madge to get us focussed on our major task of the day - help our heroes get 3 points.
Let's show some fighting spirit.

What about giving Madge a rest, she hasn't had a great season has she ?
I know she's a bit of a mover and a looker but she needs a bit of competition.

Slap her or she`s now an old slapper? Is it time to think the unthinkable and break Ian Mcl`s heart????? Could replacing Madge turn our season around?????Aclaret wrote:What about giving Madge a rest, she hasn't had a great season has she ?

No Vydra in squad
Re: Crystal Palarse versus MIGHTY CLARETS
After 2 minutes of tweeting the team, there are 23 whopper tweets in reply.
Surprised Cork and Wood have kept their places. At JBG is back and Tarks on bench.

Suspect it was Vydra who started the "Dyche out" thread(s) on Monday night. And Sean's found out! (QPR on loan come January?)

Re: Crystal Palarse versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Sounds like another game with a lone striker totally isolated, whist Hendrick returns to his favourite, unknown role. No doubt, our so called pacy winger will end up running back to his own goal more than attacking. Setting off now to watch it: not expecting anything at all, I hope I'm proved wrong, but don't think I will be.

Not having Vydra is an absolute disgrace.
Seriously ticked off, the lad has probably had a sulk and been dropped from the squad.
Putting 2 and 2 together but that's what seems likely.

Re: Crystal Palarse versus MIGHTY CLARETS
This team selection is baffling.
Vydra must be injured otherwise there is no excuse to not play the literal best player from the Championship last season.
Dyche is losing the plot.
Hendrick out of position as well. Good times.

Re: Crystal Palarse versus MIGHTY CLARETS
We need 5 in the middle so Hendrick was always likely to be in the no 10 role for this one
Wood has proved he can’t play up front on his own so that’s a puzzler
Vydra should have been an option from the bench but him and SD seem to have an issue
Anyway it’s back to one of of our tried and trusted plans - keep it tight for 80 mins, make some subs and send on Brady to cross for Vokes and Barnes- it’s worked before...

Dyche has no idea what his best 11 is. I'd rather he didn't go but I can't take much more of this.

Surprised anybody is surprised. That looks like the away formation that stood us so well last year. Personally I’d have had Sam before Wood but SD knows.

Dyche still doesn't see what 4 other recent managers have seen re-: Hart, still doesn't realise hendrick is not a number 10, still doesn't realise wood can't play up on he's own and why the hell we brought vydra in God only knows. Also Vokesy must be wondering what the bloody hell is going on.

Aye...when the players were in tip top form. Alas, Cork and Defour just do not have the legs and against a team with the legs of Palace...another disaster in the making. REALLY hope I am wrong.

Re: Crystal Palarse versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Looks like it's back to the bog standard 4411, it doesn't work Dyche. Ffs man try something different, pack the midfield like others have said. Every game we get over run in Midfield but he changes nothing, we are crying out for fresh and innovative ideas.
The players are looking devoid of any idea and confidence, he needs to try something different. If he keeps playing the same system he will surely lose the respect of the players, then the dressing room

On the plus side, I could be in bed for 1am.
Re: Crystal Palarse versus MIGHTY CLARETS
I'd rather see a 5 man midfield that had Westwood involved at the moment. I'd also rather see Barnes/Vokes if we played that way and would want Vydra involved in some capacity. This line-up is repeating all of our failures so far this year. I hope we get a result but I can't see it being anything other than another crap game.

i would imagine that is why Hendrick has been drafted in. To give them two some legs.
