606 tonight..
606 are asking for Burnley fans to phone in tonight..
Savage is backing us/Dyche, that other clown [Jason Mohammed? I think took a different viewpoint..
I have no doubt we will get one or two supporters on there - polite request..
Can all the numpties on this forum [clearly visible every day] please resist speaking to Savage...don't embarrass us...stay off the lines.
Can those fans who have been watching Burnley FC for only five minutes stay off the lines, because your overall view of things won't be accurate.
Can those who want to be able to say to their mates 'I started the ''Dyche'' out chants before anybody else', please turn your mobiles off, put it in a drawer and go for a long jog.
Please can those who are real Burnley supporters who believe in the Club and the manager and the idea that UNITY and belief got us where we are, phone in in good numbers, and give a positive impression of our wonderful club..?
Cheers..

Re: 606 tonight..
As I've said on another thread I firmly believe SD's constant harping on earlier this season about how far we are behind the rest of the Premier quality wise has destroyed our famous moral. I don't feel the need to talk to non Burnley fans about it.... but I think SD set the tone and he's now reaping what he himself sowed, far from reducing expectations he over played it and destroyed our self belief.

If we dont change the manager we will sleep walk towards the Championship.
Someone is very wrong within the camp.
Which 2 players are going to say the season begins now as players have said for the last 5 weeks.

The BBC will decide the agenda and select calls which reflect that agenda. It's what they're good at.

Thought I might get that early response...some great fans we've got these days.
You've already told us Beamish that you won't be renewing your season ticket next season, 'cos you've had enough,...that's the sort of fan we need...well done.
krsclaret...had a quick look at your posting history - you're no Claret.
But then we knew that.
Macca..what a stupid comment [no surprise] - why don't you go back, read the OP a couple of times, and have a re-think.
Pimlico.. I said 'polite request'
Like I can stop anybody saying anything..

Do you ever listen to the BBC ?
If I wanted the level of quality of phone-in that the BBC delivers, I would listen to Talksport far more often.

Re: 606 tonight..
I wont be the only one by the looks of it. The Football is dire and we are no longer actually getting results. We’ll likely be back in the Championship next year, too. So you’re wrong; the Club does need fans like me, especially when the Prem Cash Cow is no longer giving milk. They’ll need my ST Money in the Championship. It doesnt have to be this way. The Board must act very soon.hampsteadclaret wrote:Thought I might get that early response...some great fans we've got these days.

Never would an ellipsis be knowingly underused.
Re: 606 tonight..
You can't expect people to just ignore what they've seen with their own eyes the last 4 months. And for the record my Dad has had his season ticket since the early 90s. Always renewed without question, never missed a game, never leaves early and he is seriously talking about not bothering with the Liverpool game. To suggest it's just the part timers who are getting fed up is complete rubbish. The only reason I'm still bothering is because I like seeing my mates for a drink.

Don't know why anyone wouldn't want to renew their ticket if we go into the championship,a lot more entertainment, even matches , a level paying field etc..What's not to like .

Agreed.... But then it will be how our away support is massive etc and all this creaming about man city is becoming tedious.as on. Motd now.conyoviejo wrote:Don't know why anyone wouldn't want to renew their ticket if we go into the championship,a lot more entertainment, even matches , a level paying field etc..What's not to like .
Re: 606 tonight..
That'll be the only thing that gets me to renew for next season, is championship football.conyoviejo wrote:Don't know why anyone wouldn't want to renew their ticket if we go into the championship,a lot more entertainment, even matches , a level paying field etc..What's not to like .
* More games to watch
* Son will not be bored due to probably more goals and wins for the team
* generally more 15:00 Saturday games
* More room under the concourse at HT
* flurry of transfer activity to freshen things up
* better away day trips
Please don't take that as I want us to go down.
SD can remain manager, and we can remain in the premier league for the rest of my time alive if that's possible please.

To quote you - they'll need my ST money in the Championship, just how far will your £399 go towards Mees £50k a week?Lord Beamish wrote:I wont be the only one by the looks of it. He won’t be on that. He’ll have a relegation clause, as will all our players. And when we’re back paying Championships Wages, and Matchday Income makes up the majority of our overall income, then my £500 pounds will be just as desired as everybody else’s.Pimlico_Claret wrote:To quote you - they'll need my ST money in the Championship, just how far will your £399 go towards Mees £50k a week?

If one person doesn’t renew - then valid point.Pimlico_Claret wrote:To quote you - they'll need my ST money in the Championship, just how far will your £399 go towards Mees £50k a week?
A lot of my mates who have followed us for years are of the same mindset recently. So £399 might not mean much - but multiply it by a lot of fans who will probably find something else to do on a Sat aft and it definitely does mean something.
10 ST holders lost might seem like nothing but then it’s people around them too - If I stopped going then my nephew probably would too so that would be 2 ST holders gone. If a few of my mates then stopped that’s 5/10k a season from just one little group gone for many years. Never underestimate the power fans still have at a club even though in the Prem we mean nothing.
