Sprained it in the showers, rumour has it that Brady slipped on Joe Hart's head and shoulders shampoo.

See, everything is Joe Hart's fault.

If Brady is out and Lennon is out he’ll play Lowton in front of Bardsley.
Lennon has done more graft as a covering FB anyway so nobody will notice. We could even be stronger.

Brady is garbage anyway. One decent game every ten.

Doesn't need reports on Twitter, he came off injured late in the game but went back out although clearly struggling.

CT - interested to hear your views on McNeill - you have been watching a number of the under 23s games. He seemed to give the Turf a lift earlier in the season - do you think he’s ready for a first team recall?

You should introduce youngsters into a successful team. To play him now, with all the expectation, would be unfair and could ruin him.

The wingers are not working, so could be a chance to play a third midfielder

We desperately need a Marney or Barton in midfield. Someone to break up the opponents midfield

Virtually anyone who can control a ball and give to one of his team mates could make it into this team atm so why not give McNeil a crack?

We should have five forwards / midfielders on the bench on Wednesday and if they are not selected to start the likes of Vydra, McNeil and Barnes should be given a run out from the bench once the game is up.

Personally I would experiment from the start as it is a free hit and get ready for Brighton.

Interesting use of subs from Unai Emery yesterday, two changes at half time.
Completely changed the emphasis of the game.

Liverpool is not a free hit. It is one of our remaining 24 chances to pick up enough points to stay in this division. It’s also important that our goal difference is better than teams around us.

We don't play wingers. They tuck in that much they are basically another central midfielder.

Another strange decision.
Brady was clearly struggling and wanted to come off.
The game had gone why on earth keep him on?

It was probably to do with the laws of the game.

Yes I am for real.
The laws of the game that say you can only use 3 subs.
He had hurt his ankle, so at least stand him on the centre circle for the last few minutes.
In the end, he took a decent free kick, so his ankle was reasonably ok.
