How do you get out of bed in the morning with the dissolutionment of the world?

We're going toe to toe with a very decent Top 4 side. At home. For the first time in a long long time.

This will without doubt give the players a boost from the 3-4-5 goal hidings of late by other top teams.

Played decent enough but we’re still going down. We simply haven’t picked up enough points in the games we really needed to - against the teams that will be in and around us.

I'm not ashamed. I stated after the Palace game that I think his time is up based on performances this season. This one performance doesn't change that but it has planted a seed of doubt in my mind. My main concern hasn't been losing (as bizarre as that sounds). It has been that we haven't seen a lot of effort in recent games. Today has been a complete contrast and I have no complaints. I'd like to see this sort of effort and commitment in every game going forward starting with Brighton. If we can do that, we give ourselves a chance.

Didn't deserve to lose that 3-1.
Always disappointing to lose. But after the crap we've been playing, that was much, much better tonight.
Against one of the best sides in Europe.
