Major changes

Post by cricketfieldclarets » Wed Dec 05, 2018 7:09 pm

Lowtons out :o

Doesnt surprise me but expected 3 at the back. Taylor still plays.

Wood and Barnes up top. No Hendrick. No Vokes. No defour. No lennon.

No conspiracy but 2 things to note. When I went to watch us train, Hendrick was constantly the only one falling out. Second. When the team used to be leaked, one of the players not featuring tonight might have known the lineups ;) wonder if thats the source of the alleged disharmony and fall outs...

I certainly didn't expect 3 at the back but hoped we'd try something different like that. Don't think Long should have been dropped and think Cork is very fortunate to keep his place.

Agree. Id have started Hendrick and Westwood. But as bad as Wood has been and has good as Sam has, at least Barnes amd Wood showed they can play together. And its the first time weve seen it this year.

Not sure what it will do for Sams confidence. Hopefuly keep him hungry.

At least we won’t need a team talk. Disrespect shown from Klopp, our players should take it personally. Hope we proper spank em.

Wood must have something over dyche, I didn't see the Palace game but that's 2 shocking home performances, if I was Sam I'd be scratching my head.

Thought Wood was OK last night. Fought well with Van Dyke. Just a shame that chance in the first half where Barnes played it across wouldn't drop for him.
