Apart from stopping play for a player off the pitch, one of the best performances we’ve had in this division

He was fine. As mentioned he should have hurried them up when the injured player was off the pitch but how minor is that.

D. 20. Lower mark for letting them pressure him over our goal. Although they had a legitimate complaint. He could have come down harder.

Missed dive by Sturridge and didn't see that the ball had gone out and therefore should have been a corner to us instead of their 3rd goal

The ball out of play was the call of the AR on the Bob Lord stand side and, to be honest, he missed quite a few things last night, mainly because he was not up with play. He missed two offsides early on when the Liverpool players were well over a yard off in both instances.
I thought that the ball had gone out when they broke for the third goal but could not be sure and he had missed another similar call in the first half when a Liverpool players took it over before cutting the ball back, I had memories of the City game, however, it came to nothing!

This guy we often called "Winifred" us oldies will understand why ;) use to be one of the worse ref's in the league' what an improvement. He did vey well but was conned by Sturridge for the early free kick, otherwise he did well.
