Jims view of last night

Post by JimMcDonald » Thu Dec 06, 2018 10:13 am

That was the Burnley of last season we were excellent. On another day we could of won that. Every player on that pitch gave 100% we actually looked like a team again. You could see the passion with the celebration of the goal.

Joe Hart. Bardsley. Mee and Westwood the pick of the bunch for me.

Ben Mee's tackle on Gomez was the moment of the season so far. Crunchhh

Virgil Van Dijk is world class.

The Cricket Field was excellent tonight sounded really loud from the JMU.

It seems we have abit of togetherness again and if we play like that on Saturday iv no doubt we will win.

Well said, that man.

Amazing to think that - well, according to the all-seeing, all-knowing wise ones on here - it was all Hart's fault, Bardsley was a joke, Mee couldn't have cared less, Westwood, Brady, Tayor and Cork were so pi$$poor, Dyche had no idea - only a week ago.

Much better performance last night but Mee was still asleep for that second goal!

The caveat being it is just one game in which we SHOULD be up for it. If this all holds true in a month`s time (application, grit, cohesiveness and an actual threat on the opposition goal) after some admittedly tough games then by all means, get out the trumpets to acclaim all is better in the world.

Brighton HAS TO BE 3 points
Spurs WOULD BE A GREAT 1 point but performance/cohesiveness vital
Arsenal ditto
Everton HAS TO BE 1 point
Hammers HAS TO BE 3 points

7/8 points would see us in a positive mood (team and ALL fans alike for the New Year)

Plenty of ball-watching for the second goal, not just Mee.

Sounds similar to the French étranger or the Italian estrano to me, which would be right then. If you’re thinking etymology then given the presence of similar words with similar meanings in French and Italian I would hazard a guess at Latin

Please explain your view for me as others have said similar. Tarks was marking Van Dijk and Cork was marking Fermino. Mee was between the pairs. Over to you.

Thought Bardsley on Origi in the first few moments set the tone. I fully expected Origi to end up in the JHL, if not the Upper

Fair enough. I’d only seen Cork running back with Fermino.
Basically Taylor is playing them all onside.

our performance would probably have been good enough to beat all of the sides outside the top 3 , but liverpool were resiliant and had too much .
Great signs of improvement and tenacity though.
