You mean Basil, the historically male name, meaning 'King'? How many girls do you know called Basil, because if you know any I'd say you've been had.

Best bit for me Villa's second goal, superb technique and wonder strike.

3. Quite what that has to do with anything I willn't ever know, but someone called basil tried to take the **** out of someone called tammy for having a girls name, then you said 'says basil!' but I don't think you understand that whilst tammy is girls name, basil isn't. It's a silly name, no less silly than being named after a marsupial baby, but silly nonetheless, however it's not a girls name. Never has been.joey13 wrote:How many Basils do you know ?

Not remotely deliberate from Jay.ElectroClaret wrote:Why?
Actually weak goalkeeping (not for the first time by the Villa keeper) caused the situation.
Another club will be looking at Tom in the window.

Re: Baggies v Villa
I am pretty sure this was accidental.
... but can't tell if it was heading in anyway?
I'd say keeper error maybe as he takes out the defender and should be taking the ball.
Jay just attacks the space and ball.
Take a look it's a tough one... certainly not an "Arsenal" one or Henry for France...

Re: Baggies v Villa
Awful keeping.
Its up to the officials to disallow the goal if it was scored against the rules.
Its up to strikers to get it into the net.

I don't know how Abraham keeps his place. I've seen several Villa matches recently and I reckon he is the most wasteful striker I've seen in many a long day. I don't know how his teammates tolerate it.
