Yes, the back four is finally sorted. Onwards and upwards.

Solid performance today. Reminded me of Dean Marney and Kevin Ball. A gutsy performance.

His time on the bench has worked. He is determined to make the right back position his. Like a new signing.

We need somebody who is calm, assured and a leader there to help shore things up a little. In the short term at least could he do the job for us?
We certainly need a ball winning MF player like a Marney, Barton, Alexander, Ball, or Deary and I have thought that with 4 good CB we could try Tarks in that role as he has played that role in the early days when he came on as a sub. Bardsley might also be an option too.

His enthusiasm is infectious as seen by his fist pump while walking off tonight after the game :D
The back four, whilst still not perfect, is improving game on game and much of it is down to this fellah. Oh for one - or two - like him in the midfield, but with mire skill of course!!!

At the level we need specialists in midfield not converted defenders. You look and all te better teams have real athletes in midfield. We need a couple, one defencsive and one attacking. I think we can write Defour off now.

Rumour has it, Bardsley has found some magic jaw strengthening compound and has applied it to the entire team.
