I thought we were poor , showed grit but not much else , but maybe that's all you need outside the top 6

No surprise about no quality particularly given the conditions

Managerspeak - no worse than some of SD's recent post-match fayre following equally indefensible performances

Brighton without Murray have to be the weakest attack in the PL.

Great win and all , but I thought we could and should have capitilised better on the space they were giving us by going for that equaliser. The weather was poor yes, but can you imagine the state of the pitch with those conditions back in the 60's and 70's ..... (image of Peter Noble comes to mind). The playing surface remained immaculate so no excuses please about the weather.

This is a really good point. No goal threat and that's not just on today's viewing.

Yes, I have.
But we offered much more threat with our 40% possession than they did, you could even say despite Wood's poor showing.

really Vegas? I thought he was eloquent, non-critical of us, and spot on with his analysis

yeah really, I don't see how he can think Brighton were the better team, they did nothing for 70 minutes

He’s never too nice about us.
I thought Brighton were the weakest side to visit Turf this season. But it was also one of best defensively. Tarks and Mee were back to their best today. Burnley deserves to win m, we only saw Brighton in the last 10 minutes.

Brighton will be alright this season. Hughton is described by many other managers (including SD) as a very likable and collegial guy
