CFS facilities
CFS facilities
Once again a lake outside the CFS as we exited. If I wasn't 6 foot tall I'd have needed a life jacket.
It really is appauling in there at the minute.
Can't here the tannoy
Its a squeeze for refreshments
Toilets are a disgrace
Lake outside the exit, can't not wade through it.
Pitch black, and trip hazards everywhere
I hope the club seriously look into improving the facilities, as there's better in league 2.
Potential death trap , but I'm sure it's all ok for those who don't sit in there, and it's not a serious situation until a something serious happens.

Re: CFS facilities
If you dont like it sit in one of the newer stands.

Re: CFS facilities
I may have took that option if it was advertised they'd be a lake to cross when leaving the ground if it rains, or the fact the toilets would have a shortfall in basic hand washing facilities on a regular basis.
Im fine with not being able to hear the tannoy, as long as there's no important information ever needing to be relayed.
Other than that Jim, good point well made.

Re: CFS facilities
The puddles are just as bad on entering the CF stand. On complaining to a steward he said work had only just been completed on clearing the ground. Presumably trying to level it out more.
Can really do without wet trainers when it's cold.

Yeah that's the correct approach...., however what about the other 1,799 people in there?taio wrote:You said you were packing in anyway so ride it out.
You're BFC's dream fan, all is good do not say anything negative about the club, it's faultlessly run.
( ps when or where did I say I WAS packing it in? I most probably ain't renewing but if I'm not 100% sure yet, not sure how you can be )
Re: CFS facilities
On entering the JML we get free disposable raincoat and Wellies, don't you get the same in the CFS.

Oh dear we’ve gone and won a game. Have to complain about something else today? I know, an exceptional amount of rain making big puddles.

It's a great stand and we should appreciate they even let you sit in there for that bargain price. It's easily the best facilities I've ever come across, and the club should double the ticket prices for the privilege.

No, I was were dry during the game, however I'm sat 26 rows back.

Ps don't watch any post match interview by SD from todays game as I'd wager my mortgage he "complained" about something... yes even though we had won, unbeleivable, the nerve if him!
Re: CFS facilities
It was raining ffs and quite heavy too..
Some people come prepared for that.
At least we got 95 minutes... at the Accy match it was abandoned after 72 with the biggest crowd of the season with the "Mackems" visiting... imagine how they feel...
Stop whining 3 points gained worth a wet foot any day of the week

On the packing it in bit, I'm probably confusing you with someone else so apologies for that.
You are talking utter shite if you think I don't criticise where I think it's necessary.
Edit - I retract my apology you baby:

I'm bored, my son's bored and the entertainment factor is at zero. The best bit about the games in recent weeks has been the full time whistle.

Cricketfield has been outdated for the last 30 years BUT I'd rather spend 25 million on a midfielder and walk through puddles !

Good point. A few years ago we decided to paint the seats claret and blue instead of buying a midfielder.Vegas Claret wrote:Cricketfield has been outdated for the last 30 years BUT I'd rather spend 25 million on a midfielder and walk through puddles !

The OP is correct the facilities are terrible in there... Not much can be done about the water though tbh. On completion of the less abled stands I'm sure the cfs will be next for an upgrade.

Re: CFS facilities
Macca, just a shot in the dark here but I'm guessing you being called fickle and a clown is something to do with you not wanting to go on the Turf any more because we've lost a few and er, because there's a big puddle outside the CFS.
Re: CFS facilities
Yes sure. An independent view based on a search that took not much more than 0.5 seconds:MACCA wrote:

Fickle: changing frequently, especially as regards one's loyalties or affections
Clown: A foolish or incompetent person.
Seems appropriate.

Re: CFS facilities
I don't like like the bloke's cowardly disloyalty nor the pathetic whingeing about the puddle, ffs, but the CFS is a death trap. In the event, however unlikely, of a fire or similar catastrophe at half time, not many people would get out.

I think if a fire broke out in the CFS the pitch would be a reasonable escape route down the steps through the gates at the bottom pitchside....

Re: CFS facilities
Eh ? I'm pretty sure you have posted something on this board about not going on any more but, either way, you have to admit that whining about a puddle outside the ground after an invaluable, hard-fought win is a bit lame.
My point about the CFS being a death trap is MY point so I'm neither agreeing nor disagreeing with your comment.
No offence, but I couldn't care less whether you give up watching the lads or get your feet wet. My message board credibility is not something I'm too fussed about, tbh.

Re: CFS facilities
It would take about £100 worth of tarmac to level the puddles out and make the water drain away.
If Andy Holt was our chairman and seen the complaints it would be fixed before the next home game.
I don't mind the basic facilites as it keeps prices down but there's no excuse for not having safe access and egress to the stadium.
