Newcastle vs Wolves

Post by FactualFrank » Sun Dec 09, 2018 4:17 pm

One of the few times this season when I want Wolves to win. They're 1-0 up.

That man Jota again,a stat i noticed from the beeb website,Newcastle and Wolves are the only teams not to have had an English goalscorer this season.

The more teams in the mix the better for us,so hope Wolves go on and and claim 3 points here.

Costa plays a rubbish ball to Traore giving away possesion and then stands there feeling sorry for himself. Lazy beyond belief.

Now a soft straight Red for Newcastle.

I look at Newcastle, Wolves, Palace and Fulham yesterday and wonder just how did we sink so low to enable all of them to beat us :(

I think a draw would have been a fair result, but better for us that Newcastle lost.

Wish we had the pace that Wolves have.
They seem to move the ball about very quickly.

Not sure about palace Southampton Fulham Huddersfield and Newcastle but our season hasn't even remotely got underway yet were out the bottom 3. Poor teams around us just need to kick start our season with the 3 points we took v Brighton.

And yet they got stuffed by Huddersfield and Cardiff

Great result for us. We are poor and I don't think the January window will add much or anything to our squad. The one thing we have though is Premier league experience, what the likes of Cardiff and Fulham don't have, this will be invaluable come May

If we carry on the last two performances we look a good solid mid table Prem team.

Unfortunately and because of some decidedly weird fixture setting, by the time we play Everton we'll probably be in the bottom 3 again and so once again it becomes "must win" and brings real pressure.
