Their captain might also miss the game against us.

Re: Aaron Mooy
Mooy (and Billings) were excellent in the match at the Turf, so it's a massive blow to them.

Re: Aaron Mooy
Mooy is an absolutely huge part of what Hudd are about. I hope the guy is ok, but I will say that his absence from their side pleases me. Top player.
Re: Aaron Mooy
That's a terminal blow for them if that period of absence comes to fruition.

Re: Aaron Mooy
Hogg is their Barton and good at it.
Re: Aaron Mooy
So......
Just leaves Cardiff, who are playing purely on confidence at the moment (will it last)
And one other to be relegated.

Re: Aaron Mooy
Hogg, I agree, does the dirty stuff very well. It’s no wonder Dyche really wanted him.

Re: Aaron Mooy
I still think Schindler is their top player. He's an absolute rock.

Agree, but other than him, can you list any more?ontario claret wrote:I still think Schindler is their top player. He's an absolute rock.

Re: Aaron Mooy
Great news for Burnley if Mooy is out for a long period.
Huddersfield get the occasional good reviews for playing decent football, but still below a side like Burnley who have struggled to get a shot on target in some games.
All bows well for us clarets

Yet to win a game in his absence.
Important, no vital, that we cover our positions in the window!

Re: Aaron Mooy
The ironic thing is, in terms of numbers we are probably fairly well covered for once. Its more quality that we need. Especially in midfield. And probably now at left back.jdrobbo wrote:Yet to win a game in his absence.

Ward is on the mend, Ben Mee or even Brady can cover.cricketfieldclarets wrote:The ironic thing is, in terms of numbers we are probably fairly well covered for once. Its more quality that we need. Especially in midfield. And probably now at left back.
Depending on the injury to Bardsley, I would suggest it's right back we need to strengthen. Lowton has not been in great form & I can't think who would play RB if both he & Bards were out. JBG?

Probably go 3 at the back with Lennon or JBG wide right. Possibly at a push Long?Sleeping Cat wrote:Ward is on the mend, Ben Mee or even Brady can cover.

Lascelles has been abysmal since he went on a scoring spree a year or so ago
