End of season Player awards Dinner

Post by buzzclarets79 » Wed Dec 12, 2018 9:10 pm

Never been to this, was thinking about buying some tickets, as they on sale now, as Christmas presents. Can anyone shed any light on what the evening is like, is there much difference (besides price!) between the Sliver & Gold packages?

We had a table last year and it was a great evening. I think that the only difference between Silver and Gold is that with Gold you got a pre-event drink and your table is more central and closer to the stage.

We’ve been for a number of years and enjoyed every one.

I guess recent years though have generally had something to celebrate...........always had the Gold tickets which in the early days did have extra value but due to the success and bigger numbers attending not sure it’s worth the extra......originally players mingled before the event with gold ticket people, you could stroll on the pitch drinking yer champers etc, now it’s just a glass of warm Prosecco in the JH stand with players in the distance.......

Dread to think how short the highlights video will be!

but as mugs we’ve already bought them on the basis who cares it’s still a fab night out!

Might be a bargain come the end of the season.

Burnley. FA Cup winners 2019.

Still better sticking with the original supporters player of the year night at a tenner
