I once read an article which commented that Chelsea fans can be divided into two categories. The post-Abramovich lot that are essentially plastic day trippers and the pre-Abramovich ones who're a bunch of coked up old racists. Doesn't seem too off the mark.

I was looking at the wider theme as alluded to in the article tbh - that the current political landscape tolerates/encourages expression of racism?
