Operation "where's Mike Rigg today"

Post by MACCA » Sat Dec 15, 2018 12:41 pm

With Mike Rigg stating he was going to watch a young player today who would be "a very good player for Burnley", I wonder what game he is going to watch.

If we find out which game through twitter, a local radio or newspaper, we can surely at least narrow it down to a couple of players, if not the exact player.

If I was pushed, my guess would be he's going to the Bristol C game.

He's just tweeted "that's just put the fee up a few quid"....

Almost certainly at the City game...

Bath City 3 Gloucester 0 at HT with a brace for the young forward.

For the right money, almost certainly. Whether we can agree with them on what constitutes 'the right money' is another matter.

Is he any good?

20, first season playing regular, its in league 1, not set it on fire as to what I've read.

I'm not writing him off, just saying what makes you think it's him, and what's he got to offer?

I know nothing about him. Just going off the info in the OP that he is off watching a young player and that he had just done something to put a few quid on the asking price. In addition that we are short of numbers in the midfield area. Don't see him as one to step into the 1st team yet though.

Chris Long was highly rated by Everton when we signed him.He just didn't seem to want it enough.Lots of
skill but most of the time he seemed like he couldnt be arsedChris Long reminded me of Keith Tracey.Lots of skill heart of a gerbil.
