High feet decisions today

Post by bumba » Sat Dec 15, 2018 10:49 pm

Referee gave two against us today whilst attacking both times the ball was only chest height but the referee gave Spurs the free kick so why wasn't the challenge on Bardsley a penalty last week when the defenders foot was head height?

Double standards Premier League again

Because the first 2 were against Spurs and the 3rd one was against us.

Also Matt Ryan no booking for timewasting. Us today two. Its so inconsistent and only favours one sort of club.

Because one was to give a penalty and the two today only entailed giving free kicks. As the Sky commentator said last week, it's a free kick anywhere else on the pitch.

As for time wasting - Brighton wasted time until we scored last week. Don't recall a Burnley player being booked for it first half this week, and I think that like last week, it was ignored in giving 1 minute added time.

The decision against Ben Mee was ridiculous. The ball wasn’t above waist height.
