He went on loan to Dover but I think he’s been out injured for some time now.South West Claret. wrote:Slightly O/T but remind me where the lad Ntumba Massanka is this season please.
Unfortunately a car breakdown has prevented me from getting to the game this afternoon.

Not sure how we will line up to be honest. Last time I saw him play he was in a holding midfield position in a 4-1-4-1.randomclaret2 wrote:McNeil in midfield Tony ?

3-1 another for Agyei
Re: ARTICLE: Under-23s to end year at Stocksbridge
We've now scored 11 more goals than the 2nd highest but we've conceded the most goals in the whole league. Having conceeded 33 that's 19 more than the lowest.

Whereas, last year the U23s finished one point off the bottom place.
Would any of the regular watchers care to speculate on the main reasons for this improvement?

Re: Welcome back Nick Pope
Looks to me like he has replaced Heaton in that team after Heaton let 6 in against Leeds last week.
Would think Pope will be back on the bench soon and maybe play the Fa Cup game.

It is no big secret Heaton is off, however "I heard" it is now a perminent transfer rather than a loan, and is all done and dusted.ClaretAndJew wrote:Straight on to the bench when Heaton leaves

Re: Welcome back Nick Pope
If it is Villa ...... it couldn't have been a loan anyhow.MACCA wrote:It is no big secret Heaton is off, however "I heard" it is now a perminent transfer rather than a loan, and is all done and dusted.
Good luck to him ... has been a great servant to the Clarets...

Re: ARTICLE: Under-23s to end year at Stocksbridge
Been reported quite often, nothing like the same team this season with a number of players gone, new players coming in and others stepping up from the u18s.ClaretLoup wrote:Whereas, last year the U23s finished one point off the bottom place.

Leeds were supposedly wanting a loan deal, Villa have now apparently managed to bag him perminently.Reecey1987 wrote:Were his he going if you dont mind me asking ?
Great signing for them if it all goes through.
He deserves regular football, great servent to the club.

Re: ARTICLE: Under-23s to end year at Stocksbridge
Leeds have already come out saying they aren't in for him I believe. Villa has been on the cards a month or so. Good deal all round if its official. Hart to stay next year in the PL and then Pope back in after that. Makes sense for all parties I guess. Pope has 8 years of football in him at least.
