Re: Moanrinho has gone!
Pogba’s a lazy tool who is more suited to the pace of Italian football. £125m being quoted this morning for a January return to Juventus, Manure should snap their hand off based on performances.
A French manager: ZZ or Blanc might get an improvement from him but I feel his heart is in Turin.

Re: Moanrinho has gone!
Yeah, Man U should sell Pog to Juve to fund Jose's pay off and buy a decent CH with the bulk remaining.
It'll be interesting to see if Jose spills the beans subsequently but I guess he'll have a "keep it buttoned" clause in his huge pay-off. I'd really like to see the inside gen on his dealings with Pog and what's been happening with transfers.

Re: Moanrinho has gone!
He's deserved the sack all season. His pattern of management has been well recorded. Early success, falls out with players, falls out with the board, everyone's fault but his.
Utd have needed a decent pair of centre halves for the last 8 years, ever since Fergie left, and dropped Moyes in it, to sort out his mess. Nothing has been done about it since.
They didn't appear to put in any effort to get Van Dijk or Maguire.
His man management isn't poor, it's non existent.
Despite their weaknesses, the talent and cost of that squad should be far better off than they are.
Personally I hope it's the last we see of him in this country, the only thing great about him is his arrogance.

No but they retained all their stars, and are producing youngsters that are breaking into the first team,Oliver Skipp for example.Spijed wrote:Have Spurs signed anyone this season?
The advantage is they have continuity and a settled starting XI,everything United don't.

This was inevitable loads of players underperforming dressing room discontentment
expectation levels massively below where they're expected to be, massive high earners Billy Big shot attitudes and playing in Cities shadows they can't stand to be their Underlings and their biggest rivals Liverpool winning so emphatically they just can't take it
Hope they finish below 7th

I think there's problems far deeper than just the manager at OT. Things haven't looked right since Sir Alex retired. I would fully expect the next permanent manager to be Zidane, that's if he can work with a Director of Football.

if moyes was still there they'd be top of the league, he was and is a good manager, bournemouth and spurs are not the best places to seek replacements, warnock would do better than both of them two.

They've got the players in that squad to do well.
All this talk about needing this or that in regards to better players is rubbish.
They need a better manager because Jose has lost his touch.

I echo those sentiments CT - I cannot abide the little scrote. However, I thought he was
well suited to that set of cretins at Old Trafford.
As we used to say as kids, "good riddance to bad rubbish"

Re: Moanrinho has gone!
I was hoping he might last a bit longer as its been hilarious watching them play so badly.
He has clearly lost the dressing room a while ago so whoever comes in will no doubt see some improvement.
Still think with the players they have they remain a long way behind City, Liverpool and probably even Spurs. When the likes of Phil Jones and Felaini are still getting plenty of games you know you have a big rebuilding job. Could take them 3 or 4 years to do this so we should enjoy it whilst it lasts.
As for Mourinho I despise the guy and everything about him. No doubt someone else will give him another big contract before he ruins them and walks away with another big compensation package...fortunately for us it will not be in this country. Only a matter of time before he ends up managing a Portuguese team again in their pub league still reminding everyone he is the best manager in the world as his team are playing in front of 8,000 and scraping a 1-0 dire victory against Boavista.

One of the best Managers to have ever managed in this country. A Personality with an ego to match. Not everyone’s cup of tea but a winner. I’ll miss him.

Re: Moanrinho has gone!
Ordinarily I couldn't care less about what happens at Man Utd, but I'm gutted to hear that Mourinho has been sacked at this juncture.
Man Utd have some good young players waiting in the wings or rotting on the bench. Had he stayed and the turmoil/bad atmosphere continued it would have been easier for us to snatch them away in the January window.
With a new manager coming in I suspect everything will go on hold and players that might have been looking to leave will now hold fast to see what happens.
The last time I was this upset is when Southampton increased their chances of survival considerably by sacking Huges.

For all the “noise” about Liverpool at the moment, they’ve actually won f*** all. The titles what counts and they’ve only even remotely challenged for it once with Suarez a few years back.
I remember there was a big hullabaloo about united not having won the title for 26 years. The scousers are beyond that now.
