Congratulations CricketfieldClaret. Your daughter is destined to be a Clarets fan, given she avoided )for your sake) being born on a match day.

Just done exactly that. Had a rest for first time in 36 hours and let mother have some time just the two of them. So managed to read all the kind and overwhelming messages we have had from everywhere and those on here.piston broke wrote:Massive congrats to all the family. Girls are the best. Didnt think I would put a pic of her online but cant help show her off.

Re: New role for Heaton
I didnt directly ask him as didnt think it was fair. But told him he deserves regular football and if it wasnt here he would go with every burnley fans blessing.Turftalkers mentor wrote:Congratulations ,hope Tom stays as well
While Ive been impressed with Hart, Heaton was like he was on every previous occasion I met him. An absolute gent, very kind and genuinely interested. He was leaving the car park by our room when I saw him and when he saw us at the window he couldnt come round quick enough to look at her and have a picture.
He said he is eager to play. And he is too good not to be of course.

Re: New role for Heaton
Congratulations and best wishes - they're great pictures.
From memory the second of the Earby Claret Juniors was born on or around the same day we lost to Darlington in the FA Cup. I seem to recall the game was played at Middlesbrough probably because of the state of Darlington's pitch.I also think I'm right in saying that was Frank-Pettar Kval's one and only appearance - I don't think any Burnley parent would have entrusted him to manage to keep hold of a new born baby - even if it was asleep

Congrats. My second granddaughter was born a few weeks back. Her older sister, <2, is already learning how to kick a (small) football.
