We're not though.
And what does it matter?
"Oh but its Arsenal, Oh but its Spurs, Oh it's City, Oh but it's Huddersfield"... When does this tired excuse go away?
We've spent shitloads on this squad but are still further behind than the Judas squad back in 09

Away vs Spurs and Arsenal was always likely to result in 0 points to be fair. 3 points at the Turf vs Everton.

Pretty much what I expected from today's game. Glad we gave them a game and didn't make it too easy for them. Not a bad performance but plenty to work on.

The laws of football.
Rule 120.b(2)
Arsenal shall not lose to Burnley.
To assist in this outcome:
A) Burnley will not be awarded penalties
B) Arsenal will be awarded offside goals
C) the referee will book as many Burnley players as he sees fit.

Shitloads? Clubs like Spurs and Arsenal spend more on a player than we've spent in the history of the club. Shitloads in the Premier League is £100+ million in a single transfer window.tarkys_ears wrote:We're not though.

I find £500m over 5 seasons to be a shitload.

It does have all the hallmarks of relegation. It has done since the end of last season, but too many people ignored the signs when they were there. Recruitment is the biggest factor of course. Second biggest is that too many supporters would welcome to Championship back with open arms, not enough pressure on the club’s hierarchy to get results.
Re: Upthearse versus MIGHTY CLARETS
That was an excellent performance from our lads. Could not ask for more, other than bury those golden chances.

Or is the evidence of his (very few) performances not enough to suggest that maybe he’s actually not very good? Dyche sees him in training - and I am starting to question who actually signed the bloke.

Re: Upthearse versus MIGHTY CLARETS
That was actually alright performance wise. certainly we were actively pushing for the equalizer.
But that level of intensity has to be over 90 minutes, not thirty and we have to stop losing the ball. The lack of options for the pass and inability to pass it first time are killing us at this level. That has to improve.

Re: Upthearse versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Nothing much to complain about today. We gave it a good go and Arses pick us off as we chased the game. Bloody glad I don't have to watch them live every week there is feigning injury/fouls and then there is Arsenal. Sure they practice rolling around once a week. Pathetic club, pathetic fans.
A decent window for a change, will see us right.

Eh?....ffs the lad has barely been given a chance. In the two games he’s started we won both, and he scored in one of them. And he has pace. He was the Championship top scorer when we bought him. He’s not shite, but he will be when Dyche has wrecked his confidence. I would suggest it is more likely that our board and manager are shite.jedi_master wrote:Vydra’s looked absolutely shite - terrible signing.

Re: Upthearse versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Yes we've havnt shipped a load of goals and the set up might be right with what we had. It is yet another defeat though. Losing becomes a habit as does winning. You can't keep losing so many games and never look like winning in them and stay up. We look every bit a relegation team for me.
