It's not good thankfully Cardiff,Huddersfield and Fulham are no better,the last 4 performances have been acceptable,but our points gathering has to begin from Boxing Day onwards.

Fulham thrashed us, we were very fortunate to win at Cardiff and the sitting back against Huddersfield was pathetic. These teams aren't weaker than us although we have a bit more PL experience.

There’s two worse teams than us but not sure there’s three. Can we recruit two / three players in January that will improve us ? The last two or three windows don’t inspire a great deal of confidence.

As things stand you'd think the 3 relegated teams will come from the 4 mentioned in this thread.

We have to make sure we finish top of that 4 team mini-league. The current squad are not equipped to do that and needs strengthening in January.

On the positive side we have greater PL experience and have got ourselves out of a relegation scrap once before.

The only relevance as far as points are concerned is getting more than the bottom 3 - that total looks like it might be a couple less than recent years - which is just as well given our poor return so far.
