Been a strong Hart advocate from the start, but I think today might be the day he lost the number 1 shirt.

I seriously don't know how anyone can back Dyche any more. He's been super for Burnley and been very well paid for it but it's time to go i'm afraid, sleepwalking into relegation and there is no prospect of coming back

Thing is, you can only serve sh!te up for so long and surely today is the limit.
40 goals conceded already ffs. That's abysmal by anyone's standards.

Just been watching on a stream and had to switch off. What a shambolic performance-any of our players who got the ball just lumping it to Vokes
Vokes cannot get in the Wales team-so predictable. Something wrong with these guys-are they trying to tell us something. Cant use fine margins and diving tonight I am afraid Sean

This "performance" wreaks of it being the end of an era. Too many players tossing it off and not giving a sh!t. No matter what the manager does he can't arrest the slide either and we continue to ship goals for fun

Re: MIGHTY CLARETS v Toffeefolk
The only reasons why I'd back Dyche is because it'll cost the club a fortune to sack him, and he's shown that he can do it in the Championship - twice. He's shown he has what it takes to bring us back up. I really don't see anybody better wanting the job, because so-called good managers need a shed load of money before they can succeed. We would need somebody who would want to come and has shown to do the business on a shoe string.Vegas Claret wrote:I seriously don't know how anyone can back Dyche any more. Re: MIGHTY CLARETS v Toffeefolk
Vydra scored the most goals in the Championship last season and isn't playing. Going on about Rodriguez's tally is weird considering he could score 40 goals in the championship and it wouldn't make a difference. Dyche wouldn't play him.

Dyche wont walk hes too pig headed, Garlick cant afford to sack him, and therefore is planning a season in the championship which lets be honest is Dyches level of football as a manger, no money in the transfer window as Garlick will believe he has a championship side already. Watch this space.

Thing is I don't care what league we are in, I just want to see us playing some decent football and we simply don't do it very often under Dyche. I started watching in 1983 and his tactics are from 1983FactualFrank wrote:The only reasons why I'd back Dyche is because it'll cost the club a fortune to sack him, and he's shown that he can do it in the Championship - twice. Re: MIGHTY CLARETS v Toffeefolk
I think SD's experience of taking us up twice before is massive though. And if we keep the majority of our side, we'd surely have an excellent chance of coming back. If you look at it from the board's POV, that would be very risky. Of course, SD may want to leave at the end of the season anyway, but his rating will be a lot lower than it was during the summer. I doubt any/many Prem sides would want him.Steve1956 wrote:I wouldn't mind Paul Cook.

Board have a massive part to play in this I’m afraid. Not backing Dyche in the Summer. The anger should equally be directed that way.

The whole thing has gone stale. Dyche would not get us back up a third time. He's been found out. Are we supposed to watch this cr*p till the end of the season and just surrender at Christmas. Pathetic. Make a decision Garlick and try and keep this club in the PL.

Re: MIGHTY CLARETS v Toffeefolk
It's certainly up to them in January. Do they stick, we go down and they invest more in the summer to come back up, or do they speculate to accumulate in a very real attempt to stay up. Or can they do both? Can we go for players who would walk into our side and will stay if we go down? That final option is probably the best option, but I bet those players will be few and far between.ClaretSteve wrote:Board have a massive part to play in this I’m afraid.
