How much more of this must we endure?
Dyche hasn't a thing since February. WTF is this we're paying to see? He's done wonders for us but it's failing now and must change.

He’s got to go, as far as I’m concerned. He’s a busted flush here. Time for a new broom.

Total lack of tactics-5 at the back, lumping it at Vokes for 90 minutes, no wide players until the end, Enough is enough

Other teams have evolved, we've stagnated and are now very easily sussed out.

Until January 2020, if we aren't looking like making a return to the Premier League. I think the board would perhaps make a move then and bring somebody in to help bring us back up.

I still respect the board for not giving in to pressure to put the club in debt for a league which we'll always be at risk in. Sure it's no fun loosing with dire football but we won't tank.Belgianclaret wrote:Other teams have evolved, we've stagnated and are now very easily sussed out.

If Tarkowski scores that sitter at the beginning of the second half, it could have been interesting.

Re: How much more of this must we endure?
Maybe not consciously but subliminally yeah; he has lost a bit of edge for me and become all a bit too nice, sitting comfy in his chair buying the characters he likes and the people around him; we haven't changed anything apart from a 451 spell last season. I don't for one minute think he has taken his job lightly and done things any differently but just lost a bit of drive and edge; the idea that we should just be happy to stay up and concede that Europe is a badge of honour and admit that we should just be concentrating on The Prem lowered the expectations and motivation; our players must have thought that they were the real deal finishing 7th and getting into Europe and that it would be somewhat easy to be able to do it again, well if we did it last year we should have no problems staying up whilst maybe not replicating last season but being fairly comfortable in mid-table; totally bit on the ass they've been!!! We haven't looked to move on and our objectives have been lowered; we should have taken that mentality of well if we can do it then let's do it again and get some real players in; instead, we got another Champ striker and another Champ defender and a keeper who's have a stinking 2 years after losing his England place!!! Says it all, really.cricketfieldclarets wrote:I hate to say it. But since he went from a rolling deal to a 75k a week lomg term contract we have been dreadful. Lost the desire?

The irony is that if we get relegated (and that has been looking the case since the start of the season) then he is just the manager we'd need to get us promoted back. Been there twice ... succeeded twice. And for that reason alone, I stick with him regardless.

What point are you really trying to make here ? Please don't give me fine margins, because
these margins are about as wide as you can get atm.
Re: How much more of this must we endure?
It's the same thing I've been saying for months now. Back him or sack him. Big changes are needed, whether it's players or the manager is up to the Board, because to be honest we're ready relegated. Currently we're sitting in a tide waiting to drown rather than trying to save ourselves.
Today was pitiful. I'm a regular of over 30 years and today was about as predictable as it gets. If you set up a team with no pace, no flair, no creativity and no clear game plan what can we expect. Dyche was wrong in every respect today. The wrong line up, the wrong tactics, the wrong subs and everything else in between.
I haven't said this before but I'm fed up now, Dyche Out. Too many performances and defeats are utterly predictable before kick off. If I can see the issues, why can't a Premier League manager? We've been found out but we're doing nothing to change it.
Sideways sideways backwards sideways backwards sideways sideways sideways BOOM! Repeat for 90 minutes.

I just don't get it, can't bring myself to be too harsh on anyone (board, Dyche, team) after the last few seasons but something is clearly very, very wrong. Any option is now on the table as far as I'm concerned.

Re: How much more of this must we endure?
I think his time is up,too. Just listened to his interview on the radio and it's just empty rhetoric. He made no comments on the pitiful display we witnessed today but waffled on for as long as he could to presumably try to distract attention from the shambles. I'll be there again on Sunday as I'm guessing he will too but this has relegation written all over it. Attritional football worked and served him well for a while but it no longer serves a purpose. Wonder what his chairman thinks after that no-show?

With an ageing squad ? Any talent we have left will end up leaving same as gibson he will bounce straight back up were we will have to slog it outEspia wrote:The irony is that if we get relegated (and that has been looking the case since the start of the season) then he is just the manager we'd need to get us promoted back. Re: How much more of this must we endure?
You can't keep playing the same hand time and time again that doesn't work, yet Dyche is doing it and getting away with it. He's been given the benefit of the doubt but time has run out. Poor signing, poor tactics and poor in game management.ClaretMoffitt wrote:I just don't get it, can't bring myself to be too harsh on anyone (board, Dyche, team) after the last few seasons but something is clearly very, very wrong. If the board are worth their salt (and I'm not saying they are not) you would have thought they would have candidates in mind to replace Dyche.

SD talking again about fine margins after losing 1-5 at home to an out of form Everton is beyond irony.

I very much doubt it. Can't see why any player would have any concern about Dyche's wage. Personally I have no problem with one of our most successful managers being paid more than the players.Vegas Claret wrote:maybe that's when the players lost respect for him - he's getting paid more than twice as much as some of them

Re: How much more of this must we endure?
I just wish Sean would be less fearful of playing football. He knows the problems but he doesn’t seem to be able to change his mindset of framework above all. Inspire the players Sean don’t restrict them. Even McNeil our one young player to break through seem like he is ordered to play in a certain way, which doesn’t suit him. Let st least one of the players play with freedom and passion and let’s see what happens! Oh ... and drop Hart it hadn’t worked!!!

Afraid this result has turned me from a lets not be drastic situation to Now thinking Dyche would struggle to get us back up with this team
Maybe time to sound out Gary Monk-taken Birmingham to 7th with a basic team, experience of the PL and clearly a better coach than SD and very nearly transformed Leeds last season

Monk's not a bad shout but would he risk a move in mid-season with Birmingham in with a real chance of at least a play-off place i suspect not,he's better sitting tight and seeing what other Premier League teams take an interest in his services at the end of the season.
