I’d rather keep Dyche than have Allardyce here.

My point being we need to do something NOW..not necessarily Bfs...but he does tend to get a job when a club is in trouble...and saves them. Not sure I'd want him either but please let us go down with at least a fight

Garlick "Sam, you want to come and rescue us"
BFS "I've seen a few of your games, you'll need to spend at least 30 million in January to even stand a chance plus pay me 2 million if I do the job"
Garlick"Brian, fancy seeing it through until the end of the season like last time"

So true.. trying to stay in the league with a league 1 budget.. even if your banking 120mill per seasonVegas Claret wrote:Garlick "Sam, you want to come and rescue us"

What sort of morons complain about the level entertainment and then advocate Allerdyce as the solution?

Almatdyce's football is awful but effective. Ours has always been awful under Dyche but is now consistently ineffective. One manager who would not lift this team is Moyes.

I've always thought Sam would end up managing us and as much as I admire SD our PL status is more important than sentiment..

Re: Does anyone know Big SAMs number??
Dyche vs BFS.
Tactics - BFS.
Experience - BFS
Transfers - BFS
Defensive Organisation - BFS
Relegation Avoidance - BFS
Motivation - Normally Dyche, but now?
Entertainment - Draw
Personally, I can’t stand Allerball. But we are where we are. It’s time to hold our nose, dig deep for the survival bonus, let him bring in a couple of loans, and take him until May.
Yes, before anyone says it, I concur, Garlick hasn’t got the stones to do it. He won’t even give us running hot water, he isn’t going to pay Sam his normal level and pay Sean off too. He will stay loyal too late (to his credit in a way, but doesn’t help us). We may still stay up, but it would be a mighty gamble.

Re: Does anyone know Big SAMs number??
we can't afford allardyce. not because of his wages but because of the number of players he'd want. no way will he even think about attempting to keep us up with what we've got.
and i for one don't want him. rather go down than have him here.

OP - you weren't the absolute baffoon who text Radio Blackburn saying Dyches football is awful so we need to get BFS in were you? After listening to the radio and the absolute rubbish shouted around me at the Turf today I really do think there are an immense amount of thick Burnley fans.

Re: Does anyone know Big SAMs number??
Here's the problem
The board wont back any manager enough in the PL
Whoever is in charge is tasked with getting us into the PL then probably get us relegated because of the above then get us promoted again
If we are going to loiter mid table of the Championship we might as well do it watching some decent football rather than the current hoofball
It wont make a scrap of difference long term who is in charge as long as the board don't have the finance to back him at PL level (not a criticism just reality)

Re: Does anyone know Big SAMs number??
I was listening to a sports pyscologist talking about BFS a few weeks ago.
He made the point that because of his record of not having ever been relegated as soon as he is appointed the mindset of the players change as they then have the belief that they will indeed survive the drop and take that belief out onto the pitch.
The old saying” whether you believe you can or wherher you believe you cant, you will be right”

Re: Does anyone know Big SAMs number??
I thought we'd only just sold big Sam to Stoke - and good luck to Vokesy, hope it works out well.
Or, we were getting into the agent game - looking to place an out-of-work manager at one of the clubs who need a new manager....
