Gate for Barnsley

Can't imagine it being a massive gate -

With it being televised, going to watch it at home on a stream..

Would have been a nice gesture for some free tickets to ST holders or those who have attended x amount of games this year.

Not permitted. We weren't even allowed to let season ticket holders in free for the FA Youth Cup. Up to a couple of years ago there was a minimum charge of £15 too.

Didn't know that..

Possibly should offer free food and drink or add club shop credit for the amount of the ticket or something then.

Can't wait for our latest cup humiliation. The way we're playing it's hard to be confident about a home game against a League 1 outfit.

At least if we do lose we will know it was only by fine margins

We are at such a low ebb with such an awful record in cups under Dyche I think Barnsley are favourites for this one.

I was in two minds as the early ko made it difficult.

Easy decision now.

Not relishing the early start for the journey, but I will be coming up for this one along with as many family members as I can persuade to come with me. This is a time when the club needs support more than ever. I think I am a foul weather supporter.

Why the hell should we be punished even more? Isn't it bad enough that we feel obliged to attend and watch this dross with our season tickets?

I don't even get to eat my three peppered steak pies now I'm dieting, the only thing I've actually enjoyed on the Turf for literally months is gone

Not allowed by who ? In the FA Youth Cup ties at Preston v Charlton free admission to season ticket holders of both teams and Huddersfield v Peterborough and Man U v Chelsea totally free to all spectators was in place .If someone at Burnley have told you that it wasn't allowed for our game then I am sure they are making it up as they go along ,especially as the announcer had several times stated free admission to season ticket holders, yet we were then charged a quid on the night .Usual BFC showing up as Mickey mouse outfit .

How strange that the FA Regulations should be interpreted exactly as they are by our Mickey Mouse outfit

Interpreted when . Announced as FREE to season ticket holders of both clubs on numerous occasions at the 1st Team game a few days prior to the FA Youth fixture . To be then charged one pound at the ticket office on the night is undoubtedly a Mickey Mouse outfit .

It was, and in error. But the club had already confirmed that there was a charge. The error was reported to the club's operations manager on the morning of the game but he didn't appear to have any interest whatsoever and just shrugged his shoulders.

If we beat West Ham we might get a few more through the gate but I don't see us getting anywhere near 5 figures.

I too think the West Ham and Huddersfield result will have a bearing on the attendance.

No points forthhcoming and it's under 8500 for me, win both and it's 12500 +

I’ve decided to brave it. I’ve got better seats than my season tickets. Still can’t see it being over 8500 though, even if we win the next 2.
