Score prediction v West Ham

Post by TonbridgeClaret » Thu Dec 27, 2018 11:22 am

Difficult one this, because after watching that horror show yesterday, I’m not sure whether the players have downed tools for Dyche. Hopefully a better display but I’m still going 1-3 and a fairly comfortable win for the ‘ammers.

I don't expect us to score but do expect the opposition to. So, nought for us and seeing that they play tonight two, maybe three for them.

Taylor has been as good as anyone else this season so it seems harsh to single him out. Mee has been as poor as anyone for starters.

Hard to call. If there is a reaction from our players we could get a result. However i think they are good going forward so if we arent on our game fully it could be another 4 or 5 against.

We could get 2 or maybe even 3 though.

Back to our battling selves, but lack of creativity and quality costs us.

Set play AGAIN will cost us a goal

Somewhere between 2 and 10 -1, we only ever score 1 nowadays, we can all live in hope that we win 1-0 at some point, although I can't see it happening with the current set up.

We seem to be haemoraging goals and unable to stem the flow.
Get Heaton but preferably Pope when fit, back in and perhaps the defence might gain some confidence we seem to have lost. Here's praying for

Imagine thinking we're going to win.

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day though.

I'm hoping and praying, rather than thinking a win.
But play as we have been and no chance.

I have been thinking exactly the same.
It wouldn't surprise me in the least if he walks after Sunday. Everything about his demeanor suggests he's a beaten man.
A new challenge in the championship away from the media is the only way he will resurrect his career.

Sadly I think if we lose that’s got to be it because I can’t see anything for us at Udders

OK, let's do that. The point still stands that he doesn't deserve to be singled out in a squad of players who are all under performing massively.

Taylor has less PL experience than anyone else so I'm willing to cut him a bit more slack. I think there's a good player in him but he's not a wing back that's for sure!

Not a chance that Dyche will resign he has far too much to lose financially.

At any other club he would be two games away from the sack, but this is Burnley and we aren't like any other club at this level

A funny one to call for me if there's been a big clearing of the air after boxing day like at Hull 3 years ago I can see a hard fought but nervy 1-0 home win if not 3-0 to West Ham

I'll go for an improved performance but still end up the wrong side of a drubbing.

1-3 with Andy Carrol being made to look a world beater again in his annual appearance
