Jarrod Bowen
A player I’d very much like us to be in for; another two goals today, this time against Leeds. He’s only 22 and is developing really well over at Hull.

Re: Jarrod Bowen
If we insist on buying British then for me this is the sort of lad we should be going for. Probably too young for Dyche though.

Re: Jarrod Bowen
Rated at between £12m and £15m by Hull
Probably worth a go, but we'd need to start winning some games I feel to make us attractive to him

Re: Jarrod Bowen
The sort of young player we should now be targeting.
It's imperative we now start bringing in some younger players with pace, energy and enthusiasm; not to mention a renewed desire to prove themselves at the top level. Worst case scenario we have an excellent young player for the championship.

Re: Jarrod Bowen
We don’t do young players ! Surely the last six years have demonstrated that ? We do ageing and no risk on the whole. Couple of notable exceptions, Keane for example but if you’re young you need to be exceptional to feature under Dyche. He has no interest in youth.
Re: Jarrod Bowen
Definitely agree with this. Dyche's fear of youth means we've ended up with an ageing squad of steady Eddie's who'll all be financially set up for life. We desperately need to start refreshing the squad with some younger, hungrier lads who have a point to prove.ksrclaret wrote:The sort of young player we should now be targeting.

Spurs and Leeds after him going off reports, so expect he'll be gone in January.

Re: Jarrod Bowen
Should be testing the water for players like him and Watkins at Brentford. As mentioned above our squad needs some younger players, it feels as if our squad has stagnated with many players now comfortable with their contracts, all at a similar age.
Will be interesting to see who we get linked with in the coming days/weeks.

Re: Jarrod Bowen
I'm pretty sure there won't be the desire in the current squad for the long, tough slog of a 46 game Championship season next year. Even if Dyche refuses to accept it then Garlick and Rigg should be pushing him to bring in some younger lads and refresh the squad, it has been allowed to become incredibly stale.
