Will we sell anyone in Jan?
Tom? I think it's highly likely - for his sake. Best Burnley goalkeeper I have seen in 40 years.
Wood for JayRod?
Wood for JayRod?
Re: Will we sell anyone in Jan?
Nixon hinted that Barnes and Vokes might be shifted, presumably for another Jay Rod bid.
Can’t see us moving Wood, record signing and I think we still have instalments of it yet to pay Leeds.

Wood certainly won't have triggered any addons this season.

Rodriquez would be crazy to sign. We could easily change divisions with WBA.SGr wrote:Nixon hinted that Barnes and Vokes might be shifted, presumably for another Jay Rod bid.

Re: Will we sell anyone in Jan?
I can see Heaton leaving- not sure if on loan or permanent though.
I can see bids coming in for Tarkowski and if we get into the £30m territory I can see him going.
We’ve semi-announced that Barnes and/or Vokes could be available for the right price so I wouldn’t be surprised if one or both of them move on too.
Personally I’ve no problems with sales; just so long as we’re also making purchases at the same time! I want to see us improving the quality of the playing squad, decreasing the age of the squad and developing the playing style- we’re too one dimensional and have been figured out by everybody; time to shake it up a little.

Re: Will we sell anyone in Jan?
whilst it will be a sad day when the likes of Sam and Ashley leave there is no question the squad has become stale and needs a revamp

If Heaton does start today, as rumoured, then who knows, he may find himself a lengthy run in the side.

To be honest, would like to see a bit of a shake up of the squad but not sure I'd want to lose Vokes.
I like Barnes, but be happy if he's the makeweight for Jay.

Thought we paid cash up front though when we sign players though.. no future liabilities to meet that wayclaretandy wrote:Most transfers are payed in installments.

Some deals are done in one upfront payment, I believe Keith Tracey came to Burnley on that basis, due to Preston's cash-flow issues at the time.claretandy wrote:Most transfers are payed in installments.

Cash up front, equals lower price.Clarets4me wrote:Some deals are done in one upfront payment, I believe Keith Tracey came to Burnley on that basis, due to Preston's cash-flow issues at the time.
