Perspective

Our last 6 games.
Liverpool. Good performance until they equalised.
Brighton. Won
Spurs. Good performance until a 92m cock up
Arsenal. Good performance, robbed.
Everton. Totally doggiedoo from the 1st minute
West Ham. Won. Quality throughout.

So no points from 4 of the top 7 come season end but 2 wins from the also rans.
It's not all bad but a win on Wednesday would really kick us on.

With regards to Everton, even though we were very poor, had we got a second back when Tarkowski missed it may have changed the game.

Thank God for a bit of sacred geometry today. The second goal followed a superb pass (after Ozil against us.) They looked and learned.

Its a good op. On the how many points in December thread i decides to be optimost8c and went for 8 (i had a plicky draw and a gritty draw against Spurs and Everton) so they were the 2 i got wrong.

I think the issue after Boxing day was that we'd had a terrible November in terms of performances and results and despite sone decent lookong performances in Decwmber we didnt get many points. Then as we thought we might be rurning a corner we did THAT against Everton.

We need a run now of 4 or 5 unbeatem if we can to reassert the confidence.
