We need that ref. He's so decisive.

Superb piece of film.

Anyone fancy naming the scorer of the second Burnley goal ?

When was our last league penalty? It’s been so long I honestly have no idea

Everton? Away? Rings a bell

That was 19 months before I went to my first game at the Turf!
Strange to see Tommy Lawton because he had been at Burnley some 14 years previous to that cup game and my dad always used to tell me what a great player he was, although he was only at Burnley fro a short time. My dad also said that he was a decent cricketer and he played against him in the Lancashire League ---memories!!

15 April 2017 when Sam Vokes scored in the 52nd minute in a 3-1 defeat by Everton.

Anyone know what the record is? I presume it’s much longer. But maybe not much longer in the premier league

My dad told me that Tommy Lawton was one of the best centre-forwards he ever saw. Very sad the way things ended up for him.

Talking of memories the Burnley team in that Cup match was Strong, Woodruff, Mather, Attwell, Cummings, Bray, Chew, Morris, Spencer, Potts & Wilson.

An article written by the Guardian on 12th Sept states in England it was Sheffield United with 50 games.

Galway also went 72 games without one.

We'll get one tomorrow, Wood (ex-Leeds) will score it and seriously pee the Udders off.

35-1 at Paddy Power if you're interested *.

Huddersfield last season we had the most blatant of penalties turned down when Hendrick was brought down in the box.

In the match day programme when we last got a penalty there was an advert asking for craftsmen (Crafts people) for a new circular object that was being constructed, called Stonehenge.

I know we tend not to get in the opposition box that often, but the fact that Crystal Palace have been awarded 15 penalties since our last one kind of tells it's own story.

Just found that article now. I also found one from a couple of years ago, regarding Man U, going 20 ish games without a penalty. That deserved an article on an international sports news website apparently.

Make that 16, after another one for Crystal Palace last night.

Quite remarkable, really.

I wonder how many won by Zaha, I bet at least 10 of them.

That they have got Zaha who seems to go to ground with relative ease when travelling at speed. He needed 3 rolls after the stone waller that they got at Wolves last night.
