Old Trafford is good
Re: Stadium Tour
There's an old thread on here somewhere. Most people said they enjoyed it ( hope so cos I got my mum and her husband a tour for one of their presents)
Re: Stadium Tour
I've heard they have now built a replica of the Longside Bogs and you are able to throw lumps of broken concrete down at cardboard cut outs of away fans.

Re: Stadium Tour
Since when and why did Turf Moor change from a Ground to a stadium?

So it didn't get mistaken for Clarkson Hammond & May's show on Amazon Prime.South West Claret. wrote:Since when and why did Turf Moor change from a Ground to a stadium?

Yeah it's very good and Veronica is a great host who is passionate about the club.

From my point of view a football ground is in the community and a stadium is not, so therefore I consider Turf Moor to be a Football Ground.South West Claret. wrote:Since when and why did Turf Moor change from a Ground to a stadium?
That's my thinking anyway.

Re: Stadium Tour
I thought a stadium was where all 4 stands are linked in a bowl and a football ground has 4 separate stands?

Re: Stadium Tour
It always used to be said that it was a stadium if more than one sport was played there, a ground if only one sport. I prefer to think of the Turf as a ground.Quickenthetempo wrote:I thought a stadium was where all 4 stands are linked in a bowl and a football ground has 4 separate stands?
Re: Stadium Tour
Did the stadium tour a few years back and thoroughly enjoyed it, very informative too. I'd say it was worth it.
