I think you've (sort of) answered your own question. We don't want both injured, hence why he was left out.

Just seems strange to then risk Tarks in his place

We have 4 fit first choice CB available, we can afford to risk one.

Suggests that Bardsley's injury is of more concern then. Going to need another RB.if that's the case.

To me it suggests that Bardsley is a doubt for the Fulham game, but it doesn't say anything more than that.

Yeah, Bardsley’s injured so we’re going to sell our other right back.

Believe both Bardsley & Lowton have injuries and there was no way we were going to risk Lowton today

Lowton has broken his toe but is actually able to still play, so as stated above, should be fine for Fulham.

Maybe playing Tarks today at RB was to see if he could handle the role but allows Gibson to come in too

Yeah good point, incase Lowton goes down we need a contingency plan with Bardo picking up a knock.

Tbh with his recent performances I'd hope he's 3rd choice behind Bardsley and Tarks.

Spoke to Bard's brother in the gym this morning. Injured his stomach after 5 mins at Hudds, obviously played on until the hour mark. Out for c10 days, in contention for Fulham.
