your favourite main meal and pudding
I like all sorts of stuff but main meal would be either chicken tikka massala with a peshwari naan or moussaka. Pudding would be Either Tirimasu or Eton Mess.

Not a pudding fan to be honest, although I don't mind a good old trifle or the hot cookie dough is ok, but i can only manage 1 or 2 spoons full, it's very rich and sickly.
I'd have to say for my main meal, I'd go for is my usual curry with all the trimmings.

Don't suppose you suffer from gout my Lord?!
Re: your favourite main meal and pudding
As above but substitute the blue cheese sauce for a nice pepper sauce and a nice Rioja (Villa Lebrel or Campo Viejo from Lidl @ £4.95 a bottle) instead of the Yank brew.....Lord Beamish wrote:Ribeye Steak(medium rare), Chips, Onion Rings, Blue Cheese Sauce, Grilled Tomatoes. Fair dos. The beer needn’t be American. It just needs American Hops.Bosscat wrote:As above but substitute the blue cheese sauce for a nice pepper sauce and a nice Rioja (Villa Lebrel or Campo Viejo from Lidl @ £4.95 a bottle) instead of the Yank brew.....

Chicken Pathia with onion Pilau rice and a Garlic and Chilli Paratha.
When having an Indian I tend to leave puddings and have a Coffee with cream on top of it. If I am picking a pudding though I love any with Custard but I suppose a proper homemade trifle would have to be my favorite.

proper fresh fish n chips takes plenty of beating as well btw. Plenty of posh nosh is over rated. Fish n chips with a good stiff sea breeze is right up there with all the best nosh.

Ribeye medium rare is a waste of that cut! A ribeye should be medium to let the fat cook down! Other than that, a fine choice!Lord Beamish wrote:Ribeye Steak(medium rare), Chips, Onion Rings, Blue Cheese Sauce, Grilled Tomatoes. Washed down with a nice American Hopped Beer.

Battered Brie wedges with cranberry sauce.
High quality 8-12oz filet steak, cooked blue, served with peppercorn sauce and chunky chips.
Apple and Caramel Crumble with Custard.
That’s my death row meal (and also what I order every single time at my favourite local restaurant).

Re: your favourite main meal and pudding
A cheeseburger.
Done properly and no steak come remotely close to the flavour.
Decent bread, decent cheese, crunchy lettuce, juicy fresh tomatoes and a juicy medium burger. Proper crispy fries and onions rings on the side. Bottle of beer.

Re: your favourite main meal and pudding
All these are making me hungry. Though one food I've seen above and cannot understand is onion rings.
I love onions but onion rings are just mushy fried and tasteless. If someone could create them where the onion still had crunch and taste then I would be in.
My meal:
Scallops, slightly caramelised.
Main, either ribbeye and dauphinoise and mage tout
Or
Any seafood with bread and side of cheeses.
Dessert:
Mums trifle
Jam roly poly.
