Beat Fulham and we are 7 clear of them. Maintain that gap by the time our nightmare run in arrives and we should be ok. Even with their last 4 being very winnable.

More importantly will send out a positive message to all of our transfer targets that as well as keeping our momentum.

We only need 2 more wins to survive IMO, if we can see off Fulham, Cardiff and Southampton at home.

I'd go along with that as well. A draw wouldn't be a disaster, especially with the reverse result earlier this season.

JBG is certainly a big loss, but we still have our 2 forwards on form, our 2 central midfielders on form, and McNeil on fire. It's one player, and I'm sure whoever replaces him can be just as important in a different way.

You're forgetting something that could be quite significant. One or more of those teams could have already won the title or cemented their final league position and be thinking of a cup final.

It's fair to say today's game is more important than many of the remaining ones. So it's a huge game but not what some may describe as a must win.

I'd have thought each game holds greater importance than the one preceding it until at least those magic numbers tell us and everyone we can't be caught.

You are of course right. BUT Beating a rival is more important. Hence 6 pointer.

Had we lost today, momentum wouldve been lost, their confidence would have grown and more importantly they would be 6 points closer to us than they are tonight. Therefore they now have to win three to take over us rather than draw one...

Atmosphere was good today and surprisingly hostile at times. In AND outside the ground.

After the first 20 odd mins I had visions of the 5 - 3 win of the 70s which remains one of the best games I’ve ever seen...fortunately there was only one goal for Fulham today
