First time a team has won a game without having a shot on target since 2003, according to the bods on Final Score.

We were always going to beat Fulham at the Turf .. Never in doubt ..They even had the audacity to best themselves for us..
We could have played with eight men and still won..Hang on a minute we did.. Lol
They never win at the turf

Re: Has a PL team ever..?
It is the first time since the 2003-04 season that a team has scored two goals in the Premier League without a shot on target

... had 3 England goalies on their books and come back from a goal down to win without a shot on target. That must be a first.

Lineaker had a graphic on MOTD that showed that Burnley are the 1st team in the Premier League era to score two goals whilst not having a shot on target

Re: Has a PL team ever..?
Match of the Day showed that Hendrick's shot for the first goal that was deflected
was in fact on target and would have gone in anyway.
In that case we had at least one shot on target imo.

Re: Has a PL team ever..?
Why was Hendrick’s shot credited as an own goal whereas Shane Long’s wasn’t? It could be argued that both were hitting the post but who knows whether they were on the way in. Seems odd considering Hendrick’s second was a genuine attempt at goal.
Re: Has a PL team ever..?
If it's on target then it'd be Hendrick's goal?

Re: Has a PL team ever..?
It looked on target on MOTD last night, more so than Long’s which looked like it was going wide until deflected yet that was credited to Long.lucs86 wrote:If it's on target then it'd be Hendrick's goal?
Re: Has a PL team ever..?
Harry Kane would have claimed both and been given them.
