Red card at Man city
Red card at Man city
If Kompany had done that there is no way in the world he would have been sent off!
Does make you wonder if some refs really are taking back handers!\.

Re: Red card at Man city
Man City don't need a Wolves player to be sent off. So that conspiracy theory doesn't make any sense.
Even with the money Wolves have spent, City were going to win.

80.6% possession when the sending off occurred.

The Etihad is absolutely buzzing. One hell of an intimidating place.

I've just switched off. Not sure what it is exactly but I'm really starting to dislike City.

Didnt Delph get sent off for City for a reckless tackle just 3 weeks ago?Spijed wrote:If Kompany had done that there is no way in the world he would have been sent off!

I was talking about Kompany who seems to get away with dangerous tackles.Devils_Advocate wrote:Didnt Delph get sent off for City for a reckless tackle just 3 weeks ago?
The one on Lennon and the one during the Liverpool game were just as bad as the one tonight.

If City can keep it tight at the back in the second half they’ve got a real chance of three points here.

Ok I see so its not even City bribing the refs its actually Kompany on his own. You really are pricelessSpijed wrote:I was talking about Kompany who seems to get away with dangerous tackles.

Doesn't need to be, the players don't need the help like our players do and they just turn up to watch world class footballers.Rileybobs wrote:The Etihad is absolutely buzzing. One hell of an intimidating place.

Re: Red card at Man city
A red by modern thinking because he caught him with his studs but he's unlucky as he leads with the outside of his boot and plays the ball.
Re: Red card at Man city
Definite red and definite penalty. Can't have Liverpool running away with the Best League in the World (tm).

So you think Kompany didn't deserve a red against Lennon or last week against Liverpool?
He left stud marks on Lennon's thigh yet I bet if it had been the other way round Lennon would have walked.

I'd say we just value hard work and watching some foreign billionaire with no affiliation with the sport or Manchester pump billions of pounds in to artificially distort the playing fields leaves some with a bit of a sour taste.Quickenthetempo wrote:Success, we soon turn on winners in this country.
But yeah that's right we just don't like winners...

I read this in an irish accent for some reason. If you'd have just put 'now can we' on the end of your post.Sproggy wrote:Definite red and definite penalty. Can't have Liverpool running away with the Best League in the World (tm).

Combining 2 totally different incidents to come to one conjoined illogical output, that's why.

I've got to the point where I'm fed up of watching City. Yes they play nice football but the money issue just makes it less exciting.

Re: Red card at Man city
Dullest game of the season, almost unwatchable.
90% of games at the Etihad resemble an open to the public training session. The opposition may as well wear bibs and stick some cones on the half way line. It's understandable why there's zero atmosphere. I'd honestly watch any Championship game over one of 'the best teams in the world today'.

Yeah it's partly that, but there's other things as well. Guardiola's holier than thou attitude, when Fernandinho is clearly instructed to go and commit a cynical foul as soon as the opposition have any chance of a break. His refusal to give Phil Foden and Sancho a proper chance as well. Did he really need to go and spend all that money on Mahrez last summer? Why not give Sancho a go? He's proved that he was ready.mkmel wrote:I started disliking them when the sheikh came along gave them billions of pounds and said win us things
Re: Red card at Man city
I thought it was looking like an interesting game prior to the red card. City scored a very neat goal but Wolves were defending well and looked a bit of a threat themselves. Of course the sending off stunted that but Wolves still tried gallantly. Quite impressed with them, again.
Re: Red card at Man city
Feel the same about Guardiola. People forget what a prick he was in his first year here. All this Mr nice guy routine is boring.jrgbfc wrote:Yeah it's partly that, but there's other things as well. Mourinho is a ****. But he knows he’s a ****. Like a cat.
Guardiola wants attention to feed his ego and pretends to be nice but is secretly (or not so) a ****. Like a dog.
