Re: I have found us a winger @ a bargain price Mr Dyche
Well he is a decent player and a loan may be worth it. He would have a lot to prove.
Re: I have found us a winger @ a bargain price Mr Dyche
Just cos he scored against the Woe-vers
Re: I have found us a winger @ a bargain price Mr Dyche
It's a yes from me
Re: I have found us a winger @ a bargain price Mr Dyche
I thought about him the other day, surprised nobody has come in for him before now. He seemed to have a productive spell at Hull a couple of years ago. Would suspect Liverpool may offload him for nothing this month, at 24 years old and good pedigree surely someone we should be looking at? Can see him ending up at somewhere like Palace.
Re: I have found us a winger @ a bargain price Mr Dyche
We've little to lose and if nothing else it would give us cover on the wing.
Dyche did say he was interested in getting in a winger and it wouldn't cost us much.

Loan till the end of the season to see how he fits in and offer him a contract at the end of the loan spell? Win win situation?

Pre season foto. Or at least the first day back.
Worth a look I reckon.

Spot on, loan until end of season see how he fits (also so Liverpool pick up the wages) sign him on a free in the summer if it works outHedontplayforyou wrote:Loan till the end of the season to see how he fits in and offer him a contract at the end of the loan spell? Win win situation?

It depends. Does he have a smile on his face? Then he's definitely on "the other team".

Sounds a waste of time to me reading that unless he's grown up considerably, but who knows what's in the fellas head.
Dyche and his team have probably run the rule over him, Interesting that he was at Hull so I wonder how he did there.

Take him on loan until the summer, Liverpool pick up half his wages and see if can really get to work and salvage his PL career. I'd be interested, especially as their U23s guy says he really ain't a bad apple.

Shoulda woulda coulda. For him as much as anything. Amazing talent but something not right.
A loan would be a low risk gamble. But suspect his best days are already behind him after so long doing not much. Liverpools Keith Treacey?

Re: I have found us a winger @ a bargain price Mr Dyche
How can his best days be behind him when he's only 24? I don't recall any acl stories with them either. Once dyche fit he would be superb and he offers 1 thing our team doesn't have and that is pace and plenty of it too. Sign him up now me thinks!

Re: I have found us a winger @ a bargain price Mr Dyche
In spite of our poor record of playing loan players...a loan would be perfect for us + him!
He would get to train/play with a premier club until his contract expired and we would have a quality forward available to the end if season...also competition for Brady!
It’s a YES from me!

No chance, he wouldn't get a game. Not fit enough and doesn't really seems arsed about it.

Does the word 'flop' in the article not bother anybody? And it's from a reporter at the Echo who has presumably seem him quite a bit. Just a thought.

Did you not see him play while on loan @ Hull? He was tremendous for them that season.houseboy wrote:Does the word 'flop' in the article not bother anybody? And it's from a reporter at the Echo who has presumably seem him quite a bit. Just a thought.

No. However as I have since posted I think he may be an idea according to my Liverpool supporting mate.Claretuk wrote:Did you not see him play while on loan @ Hull? He was tremendous for them that season.
Re: I have found us a winger @ a bargain price Mr Dyche
Could the relationship between Dyche/Kloop be a stumbling block on this deal happening though? With all the cheat/dive/tackling gate that went on recently!

We signed Treacey at 23. Unfortunately his best days were already behind him. It happens.Claretuk wrote:How can his best days be behind him when he's only 24? I hope I am wrong. I would love us to take a gamble like this.

Belgian is Stephen Defour
Re: I have found us a winger @ a bargain price Mr Dyche
Come on Dyche/Garlick pull ya fingers out n get him signed up this week!
Re: I have found us a winger @ a bargain price Mr Dyche
He doesn't appear to have any body hair other than what's on his bonce; so it's a no from me.
Re: I have found us a winger @ a bargain price Mr Dyche
We been linked with 34 yr old Downing @ Boro if you would rather have him? No competition between the 2 choices, Lazar every day of the week n we won't get a better player than him for cost & age.. utcCorky wrote:He doesn't appear to have any body hair other than what's on his bonce; so it's a no from me.

Re: I have found us a winger @ a bargain price Mr Dyche
Watched Liverpool under 23’s v WBA the other night. This lad stood out for being totally disinterested and lazy. The commentators (Neil Mellor & David Thompson) didn’t have a good word to say about him.

Way out of our price range. Only just signed for them too, albeit he would fit in very easily with us and be a massive improvement .benstone12 wrote:Lazar is good.

Come on Garlick/Dyche get Lazar in today to put the balls in the box for Crouch!
Re: I have found us a winger @ a bargain price Mr Dyche
Why would we want to sign a player who is currently languishing in the Liverpool u23 development team playing in front of 100 fans every week ? There has to be a reason why he can`t even make the bench in a team that has had a lot of injuries.

The fee reported by Sky (under £2 million) seems incredibly low and a worthy risk.
Re: I have found us a winger @ a bargain price Mr Dyche
@24 He's 14 years to young! Let's see how he does in the next 4 months @ Fulham.
